Yeah, after watching the talks from the BUILD event, I'd advise people to get a tablet that is built for Windows 8 use.

They've made some huge changes to the driver model for the input devices to optimize for touch.

Control C didn't work :( Debian Live from PXE boot is funky - needs a http server for some components... really not understanding this!

I just need to get in to PXE anything, so, I can get SAMBA working and copy over Windows 8 installation files - I can then boot to Windows PE and run setup from it!... Overly complicated, but, should work

@JourneymanGeek it isn't remote... I have a laptop balancing on my lap with a pxe booted debian (from gparted)... It said it couldn't connect, so, I pinged Google... and it worked, but, wouldn't start... I couldn't really do much.... I don't think it got as far as proper debian as it said filesystem fail and it loaded busybox

I really wish I understood linux more!

I don't really mind clicking once in the bottom left corner, clicking once on Windows Explorer and then I see the folders in my favorites.

Windows will always put two per row.

Stupid Metro thinks .bat files are files, not applications. There goes my amazing idea on how to make folder shortcuts.

Metro is purely HTML5 as far as I understand it. Not even any Silverlight, which seems quite crazy.

@paradroid Yes, you can write some C# and XML and don't have to touch JavaScript or HTML5 to create and update a tile.

I should get some program that captures registry changes that executable do, to make these kind of things easy, never fully reinstalling stuff but just run a batch file that inserts the registry file and creates the appropriate junction points...

Yesterday someone else used the same bold usage, have new writing standards been defined to promote the use of bold on some terms?

Internal, it just follows the shortcut and sees whether it is an application, my guess...

@JourneymanGeek I want all my tiles to be big in the end, so I'm probably going to get myself used to creating wrappers around applications.

Like StarCraft II request my ranking and such from sc2ranks.com and displaying it in the tile.

If the user opens the tile it would start StarCraft II or something.

Or perhaps I can make a neat portal in between which shows forums and streams and so on...

(that last is of course no longer a wrapper but an idea)

The problem is willing to get used to it.

If I have a small mini-ITX motherboard, then what should I choose for PSU to get low electricity bills? a 250W PSU? or a 60W PSU? Just for example: A 60W PicoPSU vs. noname 250W PSU? Which would require less power?
