I'm building a PC. I've bought an nvidia graphics card and need a CPU. I was thinking of an Intel Xeon 1230. This chip doesn't have on-board graphics. But will I be able to install Ubuntu & Windows using the CPU for graphics so I can get far enough to then install the nvidia drivers?
@Boris_yo That is good, i think there is a non-mini version of it. while it it high rated by battery peoples, it is only cable of giving good guesses. like Ni-mh batts do not change much in voltage, even under a load WHICH (important) this tester type actually applies one, many other cheap testers are practically worthless. it also cannot tell how well the battery is doing in lifetime. having a testing charger $$$ can be overall more useful to know everything except guessing the exact capacity.
@Boris_yo you could say that is a lot of money to plop down, when it wont really prove the condition or state of the battery fully. money might be better spent for a testing charger thing .
Probably most useful to those without enough batteries charged, who will blow through a lot of throwaway batteries, and who do not properly keep a battery set as a team.
But i got one of them $$$ grater slicer things from my sister who was selling "pampered chef" and man that thing will juliann a whole thimb in seconds , and it stayed sharp, and cleans up
@Boris_yo prefer the maha over the lacross, each has advantages and disadvantages. the maha treat the battery better, the lacross cook it better, oh wait cooking not as good :-)
@Boris_yo it is one of them slide the food through it washboard kinda things, for wopper choppering. I already melted part of it Plastic :-( to close to the stove.
