Lenovo 2.4GHz, dual core. 4GB of RAM, Windows 8

Laptop operates with bottlenecks. Another RAM slot is free to add additional 4GB module or 8GB module. 16GB is maximum supported by processor but with certain memory modules not mentioned on ark.intel.com
What would be your advice to improve performance without resolving to SSD? WIll 4GB be enough?

A: Change necessary mouse speed to get mouse cursor to monitor with smaller resolution

PsycogeekI have used a Low-res monitor as a second monitor before, the problem I had. Where the resolution differs, there is a virtual wall This Virtual wall will not allow the mouse to pass, because , there is "no where for it to go" On the monitor which does not have screen there. The location of thi...

Does that virtual wall actually work like that? o.O
I tried to indicate "That Aint the Problem" I suppose given more time, he will figure it out.
When my garage door opener does not work, I just go really fast, and it seems like it solves that problem :-)
@MichaelFrank THe mouse never crosses that wall, but going really fast moves it vertically till it pases through the open space. I was trying to avoid saying , you dummy. but it probably needs to be more clear.
@Psycogeek Oh, I meant that you could offset the monitors in such a way they prevent the mouse from leaving one screen except for that certain overlap.
Nope, it moves like that, but a refresh of it and it changes back to something normal. I belive even sideXSide though you can top bottom them and have the mouse move that way.
Yea, I just didn't realise that the orientation in the Resolution options window actually had any effect on the way the mouse could transition.

Yup, how confusing. Put the monitors On top of eachother.
Windows (of course ) too, can be pushed UP off the top of one monitor onto the bottom of the other.
Good prank to pull on someone with 2 , messes with my head.
