@OliverSalzburg yea - but it seems quite likely (especially considering the previous decent questions and recent troll-question on SF) that the account was hacked - would be nicer to the original owner to suspend it rather than let it get flagged/question/answer-blocked into oblivion...
I entered an IMAP email into my Outlook (it is not the only email account I have). I then realized, I did not want it in my account so I went to Tools/Account Settings/Email Tab and deleted the file. I rebooted the computer and then re-opened outlook. It is still showing up in the left hand side ...
Is it just me or is it HP skimping on the graphics processor? On their top-of-the-line ENVY Phoenix systems, they've always offered top-end Intel CPUs, with Ivy Bridge-E (LGA 2011) processors all the way up to the i7-4960X, and even liquid cooling is standard, but they always seem to skimp on the GPU. They've been better lately, now offering up to a GeForce GTX 770, but can't they offer a 750+ watt PSU and a GTX 780 (or even SLI options)?
I can see the advantages here: fair DRM system, outrageous sales (I got Darksiders and Darksiders II with a full set of DLC for less than $25), and a community-friendly approach -- and Valve has an anti-vendor lock-in stance:
#SteamMachine and #SteamOS are designed to avoid #vendorlockin, so that gamers are not at the mercy of console makers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steam_Machine
Well, I kinda like Steam myself, but there was this one time where they locked my account and I realized that I'm pretty much at their mercy and they can legally lock me out of my account whenever they want
@DragonLord They never really told me, which makes it even worse :D
I just assumed that they assumed that I was sharing my account or something. They asked for proof of purchase for every single game in my library, which is pretty ridiculous
I've sent them the proof for like the last 20 purchases and that was fine
The only thing relevant to me was that they can just do that for whatever reason. They don't have to tell me why and they don't have to give me my money back for all the games in my library
Is it still easy to find system monitoring devices that fit into 5.25" slots? The case I'm working with has four such slots, two of which are fitted with PATA optical drives (look at how old this system is)
I'm probably just going to put a generic SATA CD/DVD writer into the top slot
Is this some sort of hacking attempt on my server?

It didn't say "accepted public key", which would indicate an actual log-in
Should I be worried? (I'm using 4096-bit RSA keys; password authentication is disabled.)
@OliverSalzburg fail2ban seems not that strong if it can be bypassed. If it could be hard to bypass, the need for human behavior emulation would appear.
@Boris_yo Only if you do it commercially. I guess there is some kind of limit where you would have to declare it as income and pay taxes, but I don't think I'd hit the limit
truewifi.net/wifi/findhotspot A lot of hotspots in Bangkok. Click on dropdown box above the fold. How can people understand such language?
@OliverSalzburg Strange, but if you already bought item when it was new, you surely paid tax already. Why would you pay tax again? Only person you sold to should pay tax.
@Boris_yo Having to pay taxes multiple times is not weird :P I pay income tax before I even get any money for my work, then I pay 19% VAT on anything I buy again
And if you sell your stuff that you own, and you earn a certain amount from it, you have to declare it as income and pay tax again
Everybody has to pay income tax. Even when you're old and you receive a pension from the fund you paid into your whole life, you still have to pay income tax again on your pension
@OliverSalzburg And while you file for tax return, you declare some things that you got paid for in addition to your official source of income like your job?
And at the end of the year, I can file my tax returns and say "I paid 300€ each month to buy gas for my car to get to work. If I didn't do that, I would not have earned anything. So give me some money back"
And then I would get back like 30€ for each month
But if I would also declare "Hey, I made 1000€ by selling some old crap on Ebay" then they would be like, "Well, then you don't get the 30€ either!"
When I create a listing on my local (German) Ebay, I'm given the option to make it available to international buyers. But to do that, I have to provide shipping costs for each country I want to make it available in.
Now, I'm not sure if my listing is actually really only limited to Germany if I ...
@Boris_yo Makes me laugh when you visit a company thats converted all their systems to web front ends and the staff develop serious Ctrl + C paranoia!!
@OliverSalzburg most people get banned on their first post to the Youtube forums, so I'm not surprised if another forum (eBay) is equally bad
all you have to do is say anything that could mildly be interpreted as possibly offensive to anyone in the entire world or make anyone do anything besides smile profusely or laugh, and you're banned
heaven forbid you say something like "crap" or "darn" -- insta ban
