we then submitted an insurance claim on my Droid Razr Maxx HD (the only one we own)... they overnighted us a refurbished "Certified Like New" Razr Maxx HD at no cost, and we sent in the one with the puckered battery in the box they sent the replacement in
so we got credit on our Verizon account that goes toward our monthly bills, for the old devices, and my mom upgraded from an original Droid Razr Maxx to the Certified Like New 'HD model
so now we don't have a huge backlog of junk / old phones, and my mom's phone is only one generation older than the newest available from Moto, and I've got the latest

5:19 PM
watching the steaming pile of dog shit.

Bob
lol
@DarthAndroid You might wanna make sure you don't touch it either.

@Bob All of my primary manipulators are rubber-covered and well-insulated.

how can I bump my question, I already put a bounty on it.

Bob
@JebediahKerman Then it's bumped.

@JebediahKerman honestly if you have a bounty on a Q and it isn't answered, either it's (a) unanswerable; (b) too sophisticated for anyone to know how to answer; or (c) does not contain enough information to be able to answer and/or leaning towards being a bad question
oops

5:29 PM
I think a,b, c do not apply
maybe there just is not way of oding it

(edited)
@JebediahKerman well, (c) probably does not apply, because if your question isn't closed or heavily downvoted, it is likely not a bad question

Bob
This question?

Q: Bypass Read-only

Jebediah KermanI have an SD card, that is broken, the slider for the "Lock" is gone. When I put it into my computer it turned out to be in read-only, How can I override this with software? I need to format the SD card. I am using Ubuntu and Windows 7

Why must it be "with software"?
What you're asking could very well be impossible.
This likely isn't a software-level restriction.

or it could only be possible with hardware

Bob
Or if it is, then it's at a very low level.

yes, that question, maybe it is impossible

Bob
5:32 PM
I've had a flash drive drop into read-only mode before. Took a firmware flash of the microcontroller on the drive to fix.

@Bob ehm, it is a software restriction

Bob
A SD card isn't quite the same, but it could very well be a hardware restriction.

@JebediahKerman it would be a valid answer to post that it's impossible, but some smartass would make a comment saying "You don't know that!" or "Nothing is truly impossible!" and downvote it, so nobody tends to post answers saying "it's impossible" unless it's really undebatable

SDcards have a 'pretty please consider me write protected' switch.

Bob
@Hennes Hard to say - it wouldn't be impossible for a given SD controller to refuse to write if the switch is flipped.
I mean, it's not a restriction on the card itself - but other hardware components could use the switch to decide the permissions, implemented in hardware or firmware.

5:34 PM
Aye. But is it not in the standard, so someone would need to make a more expensive than its needs to be version.
That is pretty unlikely.
As to a practical solution: Tape.

I am sure that the N S A could bypass it, hence not impossible

Make the SD card reader detect something in the right place. It does not have to be the original switch

Bob
@Hennes I'm not saying the card itself has actually locked itself. I'm saying the reader might have firmware restrictions rather than restrictions in OS-level software (e.g. drivers).

Aye.
@Bob Aye. Point taken.

Bob
@JebediahKerman Sure, if you have a reader that ignores the switch.
Perfectly possible.
Again, it's difficult to tell if it's even bypassable in OS-level software.
And if it is, it's likely no one has bothered - because filling in the gap is just easier.

5:36 PM
wait, don't SD cards themselves have significant on-board firmware? I read somewhere that they do

Bob
The switch isn't actually wired to anything (at least in the cards I've pulled apart) - it's just a physical obstruction.

Reads the post and notices someone already mentioned tape.

you might have to pop open the card and hack the built-in firmware to get it to agree to accept write commands with the switch in the locked position o_O

@Bob +1 for all cards I have demolished (2 or 3)

Lol: The Monoprice is made by Golden Profit Electronics (formerly ShaYao Electric Factory Three - no word on what happened to factories One and Two)

5:36 PM
at which point you might as well just fake out whatever electrical component is reading whether or not the switch is flipped

Bob
@allquixotic Eh, the cards I've seen don't have a wires switch.
Maybe some ultra-secure version? :P

@DarthAndroid lol

Bob
It's certainly possible. Just unlikely with your run-of-the-mill cheap card.

@DarthAndroid Those previous factories sank into a swap, or catched fire, topled over into the swamp and then sank.

its a good sandisk card

5:37 PM
I'm going to start calling SD cards "Insecure Digital" (ID) cards

wasn't cheap

people will look at me funny when I say "my phone has a microID card in it"

Bob
@JebediahKerman Just because it's branded doesn't mean it's got any extra circuitry on the card itself.

them: "...with your personal data? O_o"

@allquixotic I want to thank you for your Meta Superuser post about your bot. By voting so much on that question, I earned a new badge for all the voting, just about your bot

Bob
5:39 PM
Again, the switch usually isn't wired.
I'd imagine if it was then it'd be specifically advertised.

@CanadianLuke oh, and here I thought you were going to be genuinely thankful
3
my mistake

I was upvoting your comments, as I totally agree with you
I was reading them on the cell, so I didn't come in to Chat right away

Bob
> Indeed the little switch is only evaluated by the card reader, the card cannot protect itself by setting the switch to locked. If the Appliance/or the cardreader is “evil” it can just ignore the setting of the switch and write to the card regardless of switch position.

interesting
so it's essentially an IP Security Bit

Bob
@JebediahKerman You could use an adaptor that sticks out a bit further, which has the switch area filled in.

5:40 PM
CSB

Bob
A Raspberry Pi would ignore the switch; its reader is too short to check it :P

@allquixotic well the card, is water proof.

Bob
the switch is ONLY a bit of plastic
nothing more
nothing less

@Bob but that's not software! we need an extremely precise and accurate 3D printer that can be controlled by software, then someone in the question needs to attach a blender file he can print to produce a replacement switch or a new card reader with write bypass support

@Bob I always wanted a rasberri pi

Bob
5:42 PM
@JebediahKerman uhhhh?
what's the waterproofness got to do with it?
are you using it underwater or something?

@Bob didn't you know? waterproof things have extra built-in security features!

nothing, you said that there wasn't any extra security

I bought a waterproof bike once that would self-destruct if stolen... and it would only be able to do that if it were waterproof!
otherwise someone could steal it, throw it in the water real fast, drown the poor little hamsters running the anti-theft device, pull it out, and safely steal it!
I tend to get carried away sometimes

Bob
anyway, @JebediahKerman, you'll probably just have to go with the block-the-slot method

hmm
not happy with that

Bob
5:46 PM
(or buy a new card - it's about $1/GB now, which isn't too bad)
@JebediahKerman hey, it's physically damaged - what do you expect?

@Bob 1TB of SDs would cost $1000? wow

Bob
you could possibly buy a cheap card with the same form factor and swap the switch in
again, it's just a little bit of plastic
@allquixotic If you don't mind ~32 SDs? Sure.

I can't find my sd card .....

@Bob neat idea! wonder how much a bottom dollar SD would cost just to get the switch... do they still sell <1GB ones?

Bob
Actually, it's even cheaper than that.
I'm looking at a 32GB card for $20 right now.
@allquixotic don't think so!

5:49 PM
@Bob Komputerbay 128GB SD for $84 USD
$672 for a terabyte

@allquixotic In all honesty, I completely agree with your bot, and how you handled asking the community. I think you're in the right. Anyways, I gotta get back to work

Bob
assuming the switch is the same type, you could even get one of those adaptors from china for $1: ebay.com.au/itm/…

@CanadianLuke thanks, appreciated, but our opinions don't matter; that's been made very clear by SE

There will be a solution, if they agree it's a community run site

it's never been a truly community run site, because the only things that are community run are the things that SE explicitly allows us to run, and anything they want to run, they can effortlessly take out of our hands

Bob
5:51 PM
@allquixotic 64 GB for $35
128 is $100 here :\

the balance between what they run and what we run was mostly fine in the past, but they sure are testing how far they can tip the balance towards giving themselves more power without causing a ruckus

my original impression was that they would only attempt to intervene in decisions where it made a big difference for them in terms of either their legal liability, or their ability to run the site, maintain the infrastructure, break the basic rules of reasonableness, etc
they seemed genuinely disinterested in other things, which is a good thing, because it left those other things up to the community to decide

Bob
@Hennes his voice...

can't say that's true any more

Bob
5:55 PM
@Hennes too bad the bitrate is crap :(

They absoulutely crucified him.

Bob
Oh wait, they managed to get up to 16bit? niiice

one interesting side effect of yesterday (as a whole) (...in UTC-4 time :P) is that I'm now monitoring the main page of MSO, which I've never actively done before
just waiting for a Q to pop up from a community mgr regarding this in some way

I so want a rPi. And a card with a few songs with a subtle signal in it. Just so I can kill the bloody annoying radio in some locations, play some own music (or white noise) and detect it when they change the station. And ofc. recalibrate the output to the new frequency

Bob
@Hennes And probably illegal too :P

6:01 PM
Aye.
Not just probably. To transmit with that power you need a license

@Hennes a subtle signal? like an FM transmission?

I like this guy.

Oh my god, they are playing popcorn on all FM radio channels we have tried!

As a side viewer, it looks like you just advertised your own question, kind of "chat spam". In their jargon it's probably called "question dumper", something I never heard before, and the veteran chat users highly dislike it. You might have had better luck if your first sentence was something like "I posted this question but it did not get enough attention can you please have a look". — Sha Wiz Dow Ard 2 hours ago
do we dislike "question dumpers" here? personally I have no problem with it

@allquixotic I don't think we mind if it's not too spammy.
Generally.

@Psycogeek Lab techs gave me laptop with missing 2GB RAM module. Good thing I checked but to think about average joes who can't open up laptop? Tech did not even said he is sorry. What a douchebag.
I had my suspicions confirmed but I still hoped that lab is good like one guy said in forums once. At least they did not damaged laptop or scratched screen (like HP lab did here). I suspect they would not return module with 16GB of RAM if such was the case cause that is pretty much today and is not cheap.
Had I accepted $790 repair I suspect they would place everything in place and even clean my laptop until it shines.

@Boris_yo geesh and to think you pay these people :-) Had you accepted the repair, they would hand you a new laptop and tell you to go home happy :-)

@Psycogeek I just have feeling that when customer refuses from handing good money to them they neglect him. Sheesh, to pay money for computer check just to have your RAM module stolen...
And how Dell and HP let these things happen? They love contracting 3rd parties without screening them.

@Boris_yo not stolen, just missed a bit during re-assembly, could happen to anyone , why it happens to everyone , , , well its the mad scientist forgetfullness. the einstein gene. Or the Epstien gene.
The only reason they make it to the moon, is 50 recheckings of everything.

@Psycogeek Maybe work pressure, but have manhood to admit your mistake and sorry instead of giving arrogant look. Those tech wannabees... They only know to have fun but when it comes to responsibility, they are puppies.
@Psycogeek What do you mean here?

@Boris_yo I forget stuff all the time. I always do a re-check now before putting in all the screws. But i found that no matter how many times you check, you MUST first put in the last screw, before you discover that last thing. The wire that you forgot to connect, that last piece to install. that last thing you were going to do. It magically re-appears only after putting the last screw in the case :-)

7:21 PM
@Psycogeek In this case no problem but just admit your mistake and sorry. That guy did not and had I not checked before leaving, I would end up spending twice the time and money for the road again.

@Boris_yo You should sue em for your $65 back for "general ineptitude" and "bad attitude". Judge judy would award you $1500 for that, if they sassed back at her :-)

Oh yeah, without proper paperwork, they could do whatever they wanted with all other parts, like Wi-Fi adapter, CPU, speakers etc. just because they don't register components they get laptop from customer for repair. Yes, paperwork this is and next time I ain't passing my laptop without all of components mentioned to the PINS!

@Boris_yo Yup, and now you know why, if i cant do it myself, its going to die like that.

@Psycogeek Dell vs. customer with E6420 - FIGHT!
I am affraid money decides everything in this modern society versus human morals. And you know, being judge is not easy because you might be getting disrupted information from both sides.

@Boris_yo They have better inventory management at a prison. But they still get drugs in and out fluently :-)

7:27 PM
@Psycogeek Because of their corruption?

@Boris_yo because thay are humans. You should join up with the aliens, they have no flaws at all, I find them much more pleasing individuals to be around, plus anti-gravity is superior to combustion engines.

@Psycogeek Local repair lab owner told me that under "thorough computer check" they could not even open laptop but just decide to replace motherboard. Yep, $65 for opening laptop and deciding I need new motherboard. Heck I could do that.

@Psycogeek Murphy's law :P

@Braiam Thats why they invented thumb screws

@Psycogeek After opening, I now see 1 chip of all 2 others being with this white pad? imgur.com/a/0Kl4F#Q6ULBWl
You will see green chip which is GPU and another green which is CPU. Both have metallic surface and white goo around them. Wait is this goo or thermal compound?

7:40 PM
@Boris_yo cool Pictures . At least there was one thing there that had proper cooling arangement. the rest you could blow your nose on it and have it better connected.

@Boris_yo I have only 1 question... is that "plastic" or some "antistatic" material?

If center is CPU and right is nVidia, what is left? Bridge? Which one? South, North?

@allquixotic You've got some balls, coming back here after what you did.

So I see Mr. Bot's back.

@nhinkle old news :P

And is the autogreeter a thing of the past now or did you guys work out a compromise?

7:46 PM
here and the second comment
Please see this commit and this one. If you don't understand JavaScript, the summary is: removed that objectionable command and removed the auto-greeter. I can attest in good faith that the next time ChatBot John Cavil appears in SuperUser chat, these commits will be applied to its code. I have killed the bot from the server side, so it will not appear again until I pull these changes. — allquixotic yesterday

Cool.

@Boris_yo I dont know , do you have a compass? I just say "chipset"

@allquixotic I know JavaScript, thank you. It's kinda my job. I have unsuspended the bot. — balpha yesterday

Heh... I hope you didn't make balpha too mad by saying "if you don't understand"... on. Yep.
Haha. Yeah, balpha basically invented chat :P

@Psycogeek What had proper cooling arrangement?

7:48 PM
@nhinkle oh, I have absolutely no qualms about "making him mad" -- if he wants to power trip further by taking offense to a statement that was honestly intended to help clarify the situation (and not only for him but for anyone reading that comment later), he's welcome to it; it'll only make matters worse for SE.

Annnyhow I have to go to class... have fun everybody! :D

I didn't at the time know that he was the creator of the chat system nor that he was even a programmer, and it wasn't relevant to the discussion regardless

@Boris_yo the cpu was ok, as it likely would be. that will be the primary focus of the whole cooling system, even to the loss of other AS importatant items. People have missed proper cooling on things like the voltage regulation mosfets before. without thinking No-Power is no-nothing.

@Psycogeek This PCH chip at the left had only pad I think compared to CPU and GPU that only had white goo.
@Psycogeek Chipset is not one chip or it can be one chip that contains other chips inside?

@Boris_yo traditionally the motherboard chipset was a set of chips, meaning a bunch of separate chips soldered onto one board... this is less true today than it has ever been, with more of the functionality moved into a single chip or the CPU, but it's still generally true
the only systems that don't rightly have a "chipset" are single-chip SoC systems, where the entire logic for the whole system from start to finish is on a single package (or even a single die)

7:56 PM
@Boris_yo i think main chipset heavy I/O pci bridging sata lanes and all are one item now. then there can still be some minor items that do not get so hot.

@allquixotic Motherboard is like single big chip!

The Platform Controller Hub (PCH) is a family of Intel microchips, introduced circa 2008. It is the successor to the previous Intel Hub Architecture, which used a northbridge and southbridge instead, and first appeared in the Intel 5 Series. The PCH controls certain data paths and support functions used in conjunction with Intel CPUs. These include clocking (the system clock), Flexible Display Interface (FDI) and Direct Media Interface (DMI), although FDI is only used when the chipset is required to support a processor with integrated graphics. As such, I/O Functions are reassigned betwee...

@Psycogeek This white thermal stuff is not silver I assume but of lesser quality? Should I still get AS5 and shims?

they're starting to make the PCH smaller (to approach CPU fab size, but not quite that small) more aggressively
as it gets smaller it'll also get hotter

@Boris_yo the grey (isnt it?) goop looks similar to the stuff intel will use for things. It moves lots more when hot, can fill quite a bit. Again only way to replace fillers is with much better connection first, then a normal goop instead.

8:02 PM
@Psycogeek No it is white like bubblegum.
Goop is the type of TIM? And AS5 as well but different type?

@Boris_yo you chew white bubble gum ? lol But it is not Appliance white is it? probably has metal oxides in it?

@Psycogeek Maybe but it was hard to notice...

@Boris_yo yes TIM , AS5 an "Ok" T.I.M. that will last time.

Since pad is left being glued to PCH chip, should I leave it like that or remove it and put new pad? Should I put AS5 on pad?

@Boris_yo Uhh if you want to do it all right, then your in charge now. If you use non filler tims and shims to make up what you cant bend into place, then What method will you use to get a strong connection? I see no screws no plastic fitting trash, no way to get at least some Minor Pressure going. Such is why they Lock down the one tight, and have the others using fill methods.

8:13 PM
@Psycogeek I thought one has to use shims sandwiching pad in the middle... But I can use 1 shim between layers of TIM?

Any method you chose, you are still going to want to pressure test it too, to see if things are sitting flat, that the whole assembly is comming together , down and toching and squishing the goo to very very thin. But it is no longer on an assembly line, and you could even get other unapproved clamping going on , if there was some way to do that.
@Boris_yo the idea (i am pretty sure) was to use a shim in place of other poor filling methods, like the pad. get it sooo close and sooo flat and so perfect that the shim fills and the thin TIM then finishes the connection.

@Psycogeek That is when TIM is put on die, shim put on that flat layer of TIM and another flat layer of TIM is put above shim so heatsink covers all that?

@Boris_yo right. you do end up with 2 layers of tim. Ya just remember that even with very perfect flat metals, at the molecular levels it is like putting 2 mountain ranges together. so while your trying to get as much direct contact with everything, the goop fills in between the mountain ranges. If the mountain ranges are 50 feet apart, then it has to have some crappy fill method.

@Psycogeek Goop is synonymous with TIM?

@Boris_yo yes

8:25 PM
@Psycogeek Ceramique 2 vs AS5?
1st priority is nVidia chip, 2nd priority is CPU, 3rd priority id PCH chip.

@Boris_yo I told ya , i dont know. i never did ASes ceramic, so i do not know if it will last as long. But see them components around the chip? it would be bad to get a more metalic TIM on them. AS5 can be capacitive.

@Psycogeek Only once I TIM'ed CPU and it was desktop computer with AS which version of I don't remember...

If your really carefull and use the right ammount (which means way less than I always do, even after knowing better) You could keep it off those components.

Does he use too much TIM?

@Boris_yo sure, first "fix" you want to attempt is getting better gpu contact. As far as it OVER the cpu? I dont know. the CPU and the GPU are primary heaters, the chipset on modern stuff is more hub than controller, so it does not get as hot as they used to. but its either all3 are right :-) or you might as well put it back on the assembly line .
@Boris_yo Yes, he used the squish method, and used about 10times more than he would NEED for a precision assembly. it does cover filling in though.

8:40 PM
@Psycogeek Yeah but TIM could touch near pins on CPU. You noticed his CPU has 2 dies and several little pins around them? If he had AS5 which is conductive, something not good could happen.

The squish method keeps air bubbles out, by the way it is pressed out. But this becomes a bit more complex, as it forgets moisture (steam pushing it out anyways) that there is a lot more sliding around on most consumer assemblies and other factors. A very thin spread method can be as effective, and less mess and less tim, and just as assured of working.
@Boris_yo it isnt conductive, as far as what they say. these are usually oxides, silver oxide and other mixed up oxides that are different sizes. But we are certannly way more carefull with it than a totally non metal one.

@Psycogeek Removing previous TIM is crucial?

The other way, that i will use, is to protect the components from getting anything on them. then slop it on in my usual "use way to much" manner. I always want the sides to connect too, as completly useless as that is.
@Boris_yo yes old stuff in this case would be completly unusable and get in the way, and mess with what your doing. It is possible to resue as5 in the moment. before dust gets in it, before it is aged. Also directions for as5 say you rub this into the surfaces first. Which grinds it some, and permiates the porosity of the metals.

@Psycogeek Doesn't AS5 also have old TIM remover solution or it comes separate?

@Boris_yo Yes they have removers, but i do not buy them $$$ any more than windoex is distilled water and small ammounts of ammonia, so what am i buying in windeox ? 25c of blue stuff i can mix at home, in a $3 bottle. :-) cheapskate. Good 99% alcohol, tech spray, even soap and water. Q-tip (cleaning out the fibers after) microfiber rags, Paper towels (cleaning up the lint and fibers)
even toilet paper, with its lint falling all over the place, will work.

8:57 PM
@Psycogeek Hmm paper towels scratch... That's what I read. And Q-Tip is rapper...

@Boris_yo So was the sandpaper i used :-)

@Psycogeek You didn't!
@Psycogeek Windoex is in USA but in Israel we have different cleaners so their ingredients can be different... Who knows.
CPU and PU have orange squares but PCH chip does not?

@Boris_yo use metal oxide sandpapers to flatten stuff. 320 to rip and tear through metals, 400 to fix the 320 scratches, 600, then 1000 to finish. mabey some rubbing compounds (the car paint job kind).
You know the cheap shims you buy might have to be touched up some at least.
@Boris_yo you mean copper "spreaders" as in this situation the purpose is not just to shim, but to insure block contact to both sides. the copper comes down on the silicon, as a "fast conductor" of heat and is spread out to the poorer conductors, and heat pipes.

@Psycogeek Yes they look like copper. There is no copper spreader for PCH...

@Boris_yo that would be the one i can see? did it use the thermal pad, or the thick goop?

9:07 PM
@Psycogeek You mentioned something about screws? This heatsink has screws with springs, but what for?

They are not to worried (aparentally) about the chipset? because it dont get as hot as it used to.

@Psycogeek Thermal pad only.
@Psycogeek Do you think this chipset has temperature sensor too?

@Boris_yo the springs around the screws offer some movement while maintaining pressure. presumably so the (primary) CPU heat sink comes down metal to silicon as flat and thin as possible.

@Psycogeek Doesn't that mean the more pressure, the better contact?

@Boris_yo intel uses "system" temp as chipset sencor i think. so when you see "system" in the programs is could be chipset temps. But chipsets can fool people being really cool most of the time. when very high I/O was still able to heat them up (the old ones).
(like when i move massive fast raid0 from raid to raid the chipset would get way hotter than normal operations.)

9:13 PM
@Psycogeek I should disassemble heatsink to clean vent? There are 4 screws to take off?

@Boris_yo yes there are even experiments with TIM and cooling were pressure is the testing. more can be better. and you would see me stretching the springs out to increase it , making re-assembly a much bigger pain in the butt. with the springs having to be compressed more, and increasing the likelyhood of cross threading the screws as i JAm them in.
@Boris_yo of course this is your opertunity to clean it well beyond any need once.

@Psycogeek Will use compressed air.
And water and soap...
Should cologne be used to remove old TIM?

@Boris_yo the dust looks stuck down good. either hand touch, alcohol sprayer (put a sprayer on an alcohol bottle) soap and water , with much and much time given to insuring all dampness is gone. one method AFTER using water is to use alcohol to replace the water, then the alchol dries faster than the water. Avoid, getting alcohol or water in fan bearings area, that is very bad to remove oils from fan bearings.

@Psycogeek Using water material won't corrode?

@Boris_yo yes it will, if you dont either get it off, using many possible methods (compressor). take it outside on hot day, put next to a fan, very low heat high breeze from hair dryer.

9:29 PM
@Psycogeek Motherboard shipping: by sea or by air?

@Boris_yo cologne? it might work, but much of the info is to not have ANYTHING in between. not essence of flowers, not dog hairs, not dust or fibers. as your trying to get as much direct metal contact as possible.
@Boris_yo by donkey? i dont know, however speedy you want to pay for.

@Psycogeek I mean by sea is more cruel than by air? Sea, a lot of cargo, angry workers etc...
I mean delicate stuff should be delivered by air? Is motherboard delicate?

@Boris_yo sea salty air corroding, air possible decompression of cargo :-) Dont matter what you do. The most damage is always bad packing, and playing basket ball with the packages.

@Psycogeek Guess it depends whether I get return and warranty from seller? 14 days will only take shipment to reach my house in case I choose air delivery.
Not sure how they track from the moment I get delivery...

@Braiam What do you mean clients or owners?

the bug was not liked by clients, owners or employees?

I was just reading the changes on the Play Store

Oh, crypto APIs

@Bob nice, security fixes :)
@Bob for a good laugh look up the Chipotle app on the play store
something to the effect of "people were whining and giving us 1 star because the app wasn't available everywhere, so here you go, fuckers"
> We appreciate your patience as we've been perfecting the ordering experience for our Android community. We believe this will bring happiness to all of the one star reviewers who have been disappointed that Android hasn't been available in your location before now.
I'm pretty sure I had Android on my phone before the Chipotle app existed

Bob
o.o

I changed my review to 5 star though

hey peoples
can somebody recommend a good site for music recommendations?
allmusic disregards all my ratings and I don't know if other sites are any good yet

@user1306322 Pandora?

.com?

10:35 PM
uh, yes...

Dear Pandora Visitor,

We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S., Australia and New Zealand.

Bob
@user1306322 would help to know where you currently are

Well, I'm outside those countries. I am in Russia.
And no, music doesn't search for me here.
I wish there was an imdb site where "m" stood for music

10:50 PM
Soo... You just know if a site isn't available in Russia, or you simply weren't planning on suggesting other sites?
Okay, I'll just go ride a bear or something.

@user1306322 No, that's Alaska, I think in Russia they ride giant bottles of vodka. That's what stereotypification has taught me.
@user1306322 last.fm is popular for giving music recommendations, as well as I think spotify? I don't know I never been to spotify
