I used to use the classic cat-tongue one for ages after the new ones came out. I was a late convert.

I even changed my X40 back to classic (it came with domed).

I think you can use the same serial when you reinstall with a x64 Windows OS

But I would probably write a function that simply changes 1-2 to 3-4 and vice versa, just need to make sure it figures out which to change to what and then apply it. Else changing 1 to 3 would result in all 3's becoming 1's afterwards :P

@IvoFlipse: well, lenovo has some modifications to the OS, and the restore disks are 32 bit. Unless i can use a 'retail' OEM disk (and i only have 32 bit of that too), or ask lenovo for disks for a model that dosen't exist on tabook..

its not a huge issue, its just odd

and its a 320 gb hard drive, not a SSD. but with 12 second booting, i'm fine with that
