@bobble (s, 6) You spot another laptop close to the wall. It's running on a... oh goodness I didn't even know those existed still. Is that Windows Home Vista?

@bobble [f, 2,6,3,1, sorry, I had to :P] The windows Vista theme will haunt you for the rest of your life, maybe. But it's definitely not planning to go away anytime soon
@Sciborg [f] You try your best, but Blueball's friends are still crying
[s] It works too well. The cages promptly disable and the computer also has a mild explosion (not enough to hurt Quinn, but enough to make Quinn jump (what's Quinn's pronoun?)
[s, 2,6] You can't exactly understand what they're saying, but Blueball seems to be trying to convey to follow him and that you two are also very good huggers
You reach the third level up to the helm to realize... oh the ship is being towed by the Intergalactic Police Agency (IPA). That's what that lurch was. All of the lizardfolk are already arrested, and you see a tough-looking agent interrogating one of the lizardfolk
Casey stands up and puts his hands behind his head. "I was a prisoner, sir, I was forcibly beamed aboard from space and snuck into the cargo hold to free the Quibbles. It's just me." giving Quinn quick-hide looks
"I'm not some Pilot school kid. I don't remember how I got into space in the first place, come to think of it, but hey - here are the Quibbles." Casey gestures. "That's what you're after, right?"
He looks at you suspiciously. "You don't remember anything about how you left? Son, if it wasn't for your uniform, I'd arrest you on the spot. Now, I gotta give your dean a call and you can deal with your school later." He picks up his little device and gives the Galactica Opus Pilot School a buzz.
"I wouldn't have just left... Chaz is probably losing his mind wondering where I went." Casey can't figure out where Quinn is, so he's just gesturing at thin air to come out.

@Sciborg @bobble My parents removed timelimit on my phone, which means I can use discord! I would still like to use SE chatrooms for most stuff because I don't like being on my phone too much, but I can use Discord for more private stuff!
The year is 3044, Earth has long reached the intergalactic travel stage. Quinn and Casey are now being transported back to the headquarters of Galactica Opus Space Academy (GOSA) to meet the dean.
As you arrive on the docking station and leave the spacecraft, you see your dean, Mr. Arfya, and the commander of the pilot school Commander Carya both glaring at you guys.
Mr. Arfya gestures at you two. "Follow me, Mr. Casey and Miss Quinn."
He scoffs. "Oh, no, you only stole this academy's ship, flew a spacecraft unlicensed, and took with you two items explicitly forbidden from undergraduates of this academy all without permission and almost died."
He opens the door to his office and gestures for the two of you to enter.
"Mr. Casey, I understand you lack the brainpower to do anything else besides football, but please use your head for once?"
He sits down at his table. "Now, since Mr. Casey won't be answering us, Miss Quinn, would you like to explain what's going on?" (And this is where I'll let you two make up why you decided to highjack the crafts)
(Yes. You could make up the reason why, or you could roll to recall the events and I can make it up. Up to you, I thought it might be more fun if you wanted to make up the reason :P)
He frowns and turns behind him. "I see you've gotten pretty good with your magic already, but I'm afraid we had backup camera which caught your heists. Impressive you were able to disable the main security cameras though."
He sighs. "Whatever your reasoning was, you realize that even one of these infractions would be enough to expel you from this academy? What you did with the spacecraft wasn't just a violation of our academy's policies, but intergalactic regulations and safety." He shakes his head.
(You did, but there was a good reason for it. Anyhow, enough awkwardness :P)
"Commander Carya wanted to speak with you two further because it was her vehicle you stole. You two are dismissed from the academy."
He leaves the office and leaves you two with the commander.
She frowns and then starts laughing. "Look, I know you violated intergalactic violations or whatever, but seriously, he needs to chill. It's not like he never went on a joyride on a spacecraft when he wasn't supposed to." She smiles. "I'm glad you two are safe."
Commander Carya coughs. "I'm glad to see that you two were brave enough to go and save the Quibbles. The Intergalactic Police Agency has been rather... corrupt lately if you two remember. Also, I believe that one of the blue Quibbles and two of the Green Quibbles have become attached to you two? The Galactic Environmental Protection Agency has notified me that the three Quibbles must be returned to you two as soon as possible."
She looks at you two sternly. "Quibbles require a lot of affection to remain happy, or their furs turn grey and they'll literally die of heartbreak. I know you two just got expelled, but I'll see what I can do."
She looks at you apologetically. "It's partially my fault, I should've never put you two in such precarious positions."
A knock comes from the door, and in comes rushing three Quibbles - Blueball, Pepper and Mint
They bounce happily. Casey, you notice that Pepper and Mint's floofs are a bit tangled and need a bit of grooming.
Commander Carya exits the room, leaving you two alone. And also the items which for some reason was just... left there. You are now alone in the dean's office with three Quibbles, two relics, and a bunch of paper haphazardly scattered over the table
Pepper and Mint jump down from your arms and hops onto the table of the dean. Some of the papers fly everywhere.
Casey and Quinn, you notice two pieces of paper that seem to be a letter... confirming your expulsion. Odd, I thought you two were just expelled? Why are the letters pre-written?
i felt bad that we were forced to agree that we did stuff we wouldn't do and were then being punished for it, it's probably a scenario that brings stuff back
It's okay - balancing wanting to have your story play out as intended and letting the characters have choice is really hard. i have to get going to my afternoon plans in a few minutes, but maybe we can try it again later?
I think it might've worked if we knew what you wanted to do beforehand. I was flailing because I didn't know what we were supposed to do/say - and the thing I thought of to try, hiding the stuff behind the dean, didn't work
I'm also extra tilted because the approach the person who won took was the one I was planning to take before I realized maybe I want to make it more personal
borg failed to get a job for months and months and wanted to die and borg is supposed to be an adult who can handle failure, borg hasn't figured it out either
You're at a stage of life where failures feel like gigantic kicks to the brain, and while your feelings are valid you should also take a step back and remember how much is ahead and how you're only 17 and there is so much more life to go. You're gonna hit a lot of bumps but you'll keep going
you're a tough tree
if you weren't tough you wouldn't have gotten this far
what you need now is some ice cream and some moral support/pep talk
