BTW sysadmin is P2P or P2C? Peer-to-peer, assisting and troubleshooting company's personnel issues or it's peer-to-customers, assisting company's clients?
@Boris_yo its sometimes harder because there are implied internal politics within companies making you treat different levels or departments differently
do you go solve the boss' keyboard issue or do you go fix the dispatchers printer?
i've worked in loads of places where the boss' trivial issue has trumped business critical problems

I have list of files which contain particular patterns, but those files have been tarred. Now I want to search for the pattern in the tar file, and to know which files contain the pattern without extracting the files.
Any idea...?

I need to search for a file inside a tar.gz file without extracting it. After that, I need to copy the file that was searched (if ever there is) to another folder.
So far I have this, but the copy part of this line gives me an error.
