More worried about non-questions like that this moment.

One of those people that do not want to break the law due to their job that requires them not to break the law
I am absolutely one of those people.

downloading abandonware isn't really going to cause issues to anyone

It's still illegal. I also wouldn't have Star Fox 2.

a ton of stuff is illegal, though.
@rahuldottech telegram btw

A ton of stuff is illegal, and that ton of stuff, isn't in my life.

alright
just so you know
NOA takes down every rom they could find of NDS, NDSi, 3DS, 3DS, Wii, WiiU etc etc
they also take down gameplay videos
but they don't touch roms of gb, gbc, gba, nes, snes.
That says something.
oh, and, nintendo pirated their own games: technobuffalo.com/2017/01/22/…
sorry, just feeling a bit grumpy lately.
but yeah, not even nintendo worries about roms that old anymore

Does anyone know if the generic text driver still exists?

This SCAM question should be addressed :-)

7:10 PM
Okay, someone help me out here

@rahuldottech Don't eat yellow snow.

Out of the default printer drivers which ship with windows, how do I figure out which is a PostScript one?

Best help anyone can ever have

Q: Is there a Windows program for charitable uses of the Windows OS?

bakoyaroWorking with the previous years specifications, which stipulated Ubuntu Linux as an accepted OS for student PCs, I decided to purchase 15 used laptops to donate to a local school to be used by the students while taking state ordered standardized tests. I was halfway though installing Ubuntu on th...

Anyone else think that question could simply lead to the "i buy my licenses from ..." answers?

8:04 PM
@Ramhound I closed it ;)

8:15 PM
@DavidPostill So far so good with my new FF thead settings.

@thesecretmaster No excess cpu load? :)

8:28 PM
Actually, my CPU load went down. FF would often show as > 100% CPU before in top, but now it stays much lower. It's at 20%-50% now.

8:41 PM
Ah. I will try tweaking mine :)

8:56 PM
I'm currently in a 7 people email conversation about whether or not to check a checkbox in an application. It's amazing. One group of people wants the checkbox checked, but is not allowed to check it. Another group of people is allowed to check it, but they don't know whether it's a good idea. So now we need to bring in the third group, which knows whether to check it, but is not allowed to check it.
Timestamp on the first mail in the conversation is 2017-06-19

@OliverSalzburg Is this the draft for a Franz Kafka novel? ;)

@DavidPostill I fear that it is reality

What is this checkbox for?

Enabling NTLM Authentication on a service endpoint in a DynamicsNAV instance

9:09 PM
I admit, it merits some discussion :P
I still find the extent remarkable

@OliverSalzburg Is that a Germanic thing?

I'm not sure. I think it's mostly a problem of having too many parties involved in a project and nobody wants to be blamed if something breaks
I'm not gonna be blamed. That's for sure! :D

9:24 PM
wow the neighbours are hitting the weed hard this week

New here

they are leaning out of the window every 20 minutes it seems

2 hours later…
11:20 PM

Alternatively I could always "lose" it and report it stolen, my flatmate's boyfriend just lost/had his phone stolen after all
