@Psycogeek Haven't been using my cordless drill for almost 2 years. It uses NiCADs. Do they require usage once in a while like lithiums do to not have their performance degraded?
@tereško It's got nothing to do with political correctness. It's about thinking/being in a more harmonious way. More to do with philosophy and belief systems than being PC. It's hard to explain exactly what I mean ... "you are the words you speak" comes close.

@tereško I'd note - I never told people "don't talk about this" - I pointed out why I felt I didn't feel the current tangent wasn't appropriate, as any user has some right to. I think it was the conjunction of topics that was troublesome for me.
@Burgi Not here. Opinions are allowed as long as the question is not about gender, religion, politics or PHP as people may or may not be offended. Filezilla does not appear to be in any of those categories.
@tereško I don't want to continue bit quick note on my previous statement. Se is a network of people from different countries, ages, races, sexual preferences and genders. It is a safe zone. There are people who might be getting harassed or joked about irl or online, however I don't think that we should contribute to it.
I for one, had moments where I got pretty depressed after getting spammed "terrorist" online (I live in middle east) and going to stack chat and discussing normal stuff really helped me feel better. If I had same stuff happen in SE, my mood would probably get worse.
Like that South Park episode where they keep removing stuff from Christmas out of fear of offending cultures, and in the end it's just people standing still in plain clothes
@tereško Turkey is in Middle East, Asia and Europe. If you'd ask to me to pick one, I'd pick asia or middle east (only a relatively small part of our lands is on europe). Some (inc. me) considers turkey in middle east, some don't. I used "middle east" because that's why those people harassed me.

A buit late, but I would go for option #2. I want to be able to reboot a Staging / testing / Acceptance server to make sure things work. Best not have any production on the same server.

@rahul: Repcapping a can be amaimed for. Look for questions with simple problems and supply even simpler answers. Everybody seems to understand the answer, goesd 'yeah, that is what I would have done' and upvotes. Do not write nice long extensive techincal answers with diagram and external references.

I think I should write an answer for 'How do webservers work because mine does not and I made this configuration error' and then self-answer it. And do that for quite a few topic which keep getting asked over and over
Having said that I believe the caaaaaaaaaaaaaat and doooooooooooooooooog posts are annoying for some regulars. A simple hello/good evening/whatever might be more acceptable.
Unfortunately any such hints have disappeared into a black hole or have prompted mooooooooooooooooore such posts.
My strategy is to answer questions that I am able to answer in the best way possible. If the question ends up on HNQ and I get more votes that is a bonus. So far I've never managed to figure out in advance which questions actually end up HNQ. This one happened overnight while I was asleep. It was a nice surprise to see so many upvotes this morning ...
When you have a nasty problem yourself, find nothing on it online, then take the time to solve it and put up a self-answer. Those generate shitloads of rep over time ;P

Try backing up the files from your NAS.
Afterwards, delete them from the NAS, open them on your local computer, and save them directly to the NAS from their respective programs (i.e. Excel).
Unpin the Jumplist shortcuts, pin the new files, and you should be good. If all goes well, you're done.
