So I'm currently on hold with Comcast. Which is always fun, you know. But this time there's a twist: the first person I talked to accidentally forwarded me to their internal helpdesk. So I'm sure they won't be able to fix my problem, but I'm really curious what their poor L1 helpdesk tech says when I turn out not to be a Comcast employee.

Back then, we created a mobile version of chat, so that people could use the bare minimum of features on those and similar phones.
Well waddayaknow, suddenly it's 2016, smartphones for some reason now look like this:

The chat notification, especially the *BONK*, is repeated when a message is edited. Repeatedly.
This can get really annoying. I propose the BONK is only repeated after the editing time limit. That way, even if multiple edits are made, only a single *BONK* will be emitted.
