During development it had the codename "Azalia".
Hardware based on Intel HD Audio specifications is capable of delivering 192-kHz 32-bit quality for two channels, and 96-kHz 32-bit for up to eight channels. However, , most audio hardware manufacturers do not implement the full high-end specification, especially 32-bit sampling...
> AC'97 defines a high-quality, 16- or 20-bit audio architecture with surround sound support for the PC. AC'97 supports a 96 kHz sampling rate at 20-bit stereo resolution and a 48 kHz sampling rate at 20-bit stereo resolution for multichannel recording and playback. AC97 defines a maximum of 6 channels of analog audio output.
@Bob NC=No Connection. some of the web suggests doing crasy stuff with it, but of the MB manuel or (better) the PDF manuel for the MB (off the site after correction) says it is NC it probably is
Cover your ass (CYA) or cover your own ass (CYOA) describes professional and organizational practices that serve to protect oneself from legal and administrative penalties, criticism, or other punitive measures.
Common practices
* Banking - compliance officers who may know that certain financial transactions are dubious, i.e., that money laundering and terrorist financing will inevitably occur regardless of the amount of regulatory structures put in place, but who comply with all the regulatory requirements, and thus absolve themselves from future liability.

@Shiki If you want to really screw things up plug a USB into a FIREWIRE :-) one is supposed to be powered, one certannly not. And they often have a very similar connection points.
all the Chieftec PSUs I used had yellow foam/glue all over (let me refrain from using any examples what it looked like). Now I used Google Image Search to find some images of it, but all the pictures show clean PSUs. wtf
ah yes, this is it: http://www.xbitlabs.com/images/coolers/chieftec-psu-roundup/p5s.jpg
brb, dusting out the PC. (Linux would fry the Nvidia card anyway that I installed for now)
@Bob I agree, with that configurations it would be "same" for HD as AC, and no pins would be on power or problem areas. (yes it did take me that long, i got the rev2 manuel up, and it is 100% same as his picture).
@Bob After scanned ""I know that the resolution is not too fine, but the numbers are clearly readable."" no they are not, 3 pixels for a number isnt doing it. Dont be counterfeiting money with that res :-)
@Bob That guy has made hisself perpetually nuts , over an interpolation of data, does he stop and think ? Raw Scan, into the photo program, do your own sharpening and stuff, watching the fine detail (if it is so bloody important), and then print the mess.
It will take me 2000 years to pass all the requirements at each and every of those 105 websites
So, I thought that when I achieve some magical rep in here - SuperUser.. let's say 3000.... I will gain the freedom to do virtually anything in any of 105 websites
;-)
And will be able to sleep without nightmares eventually
@EinsteinsGrandson How would that work? I might be able to answer a question here, but i could not even ask a good one at 105 sites. I would have to be faking it.
@EinsteinsGrandson I mean everyone has a more favorite and to thier skill and liking site. Jack of all trades is master of none. (geez it always helps to add in english slang when your already not understood)
@EinsteinsGrandson No, your a Newbie on each site , with a bit of rep tossed in for having skill on one. But even with the 100rep points, the people in the know will still see a new person.
Or each and every of those 105 websites is an universe of itself and even when I have a rep of 9999999999999 on SuperUser, it doesn't change the fact that I need to fulfill the requirements of ServerFault as anybody else to be allowed to ask questions over there?
You could always go to sites where each of the sub-locations are not as restrictive, and disconnected, and they still hand out "rep" thingies to people who assist others.
@EinsteinsGrandson They throw you a bone 100rep. If you were a super user expert, how would that make you a Stack Exchange Programmer? or a Server Fault Webmasters?
@EinsteinsGrandson If you have 2000 or 3000? i forget on one site, then sign on to another, you get free rep for exisiting.
@EinsteinsGrandson WHY? what did you need this stuff for? Cant trade it for bitcoin :-) They dont make you the king of anything, you just end up with more work to do?
I just don't have 2000 years to fulfill all the requirements of each and every of 105 websites, so that I could freely chat and post questions on any of those 105 webistes
@EinsteinsGrandson at SU at least, any anonymous user can ask a question. If they ask it well, it will get a good answer (assuming anyone has a good answer).
@EinsteinsGrandson Ohh, well then the thing to do is get in there and fix em, get 100rep and start being part of the community , and explain that they will never get out of area 51 if they want to be assholes
Just because you may be a programming genius doesn't ALWAYS make you a Super User, Gaming, Cooking or any of the other Stack Exchange sites expert. In order to have the privileges that you have on Stack Overflow you have to earn them here, just as any other user would have to on any SE site. If...
A search reveals that you would not be the first person , or the 3rd or the 5th, to have believed that the system should work different.
If I think about it, i do not know if i would want to be Upstaged by Martha stewart, after she left Cooking , to come here and edit computer questions.
hmm my college uses an interesting login method which I have never seen before, I have a generated uname/password and I have to login via (another computer I think because in the log in to place in xp I give the name of my lab instaed of this computer)
And a local user is created during first login ...
And apparently I can log in to any computer on the campus using the same uname/password
This is a Canonical Question about Active Directory.
What is Active Directory? What does it do and how does it work?
I find myself explaining some of what I assume is common knowledge about it almost daily. This question will, hopefully, serve as a canonical question and answer for most b...
okay. messing around with IT infrastructure software is a good use of time, but attempting to compromise or exploit other peoples' production networks is very, very bad
@EinsteinsGrandson: I have over 50K rep here. On SF, while I'm tolerated, I'm obviously not as skilled as the regulars. I have no chance in hell on ask different.
;p
I for one, wouldn't trust myself with super awesome powers anywhere I didn't earn it ;)
Wow this is really disturbing. I just discovered that no mater which videos you click on at youTube, If you continue to pick from the list of similars on the right, the list will eventually have only cat/kitten videos in it. I am calling the phenomena The 6 degrees of seperation from cat videos.

@JourneymanGeek How is your running performance these days? Do you run on straight surface or curvy? Do you run everyday? Do you wear somekind of special running shoes?
@somequixotic Actually I wanted to know if he wears any rings or necklace that provides speed improvement. I would need +30 and preferably ring and will be happy. I am also willing to go through dungeon to obtain it if it's the only way.
@JourneymanGeek I probably don't understand it. I also run with music and turn off my brain which helps.
