@YaakovEllis, I'm guessing that the Balalaika is awarded for posting a comment (not necessarily upvoted) on an old question that has recently been answered. Is this correct?

@YaakovEllis, a Balalaika is a three-stringed musical instrument that two strings tuned to the same note and the third string is higher. I'm guessing that the Balalaika is awarded to someone posting a comment on a question that has exactly three answers, two of which have the same score and the third that has a higher score. Is this correct?

It doesn't have to be adding a comment. It could be any action such as editing the question or adding an answer.
