Is it possible to let several users work on the same post? Or is the best solution for collaborative editing to use some other service then copy to WordPress when it's finished?
Hi @GraceNote, do you know how collaborative editing is handled on the SE blogs at the moment? I think we'll have a good number of co-authored posts. Would it be feasible to install one of the WordPress plugins that makes this possible (showing co-authors on published posts and giving co-authors edit rights), or do you recommend we find a different tool than WordPress to work on posts together, and use WordPress only for publishing?
@Szabolcs We have tried a couple of things. Trying to edit in Wordpress itself is a PITA, so we've used LibreOffice (just email, DropBox, or Google Drive drafts around), and we're trying Google Docs for one now. But we ultimately have one author (even when the editors are making a lot of suggestions).
Hmm, not highlighting, yet. Will keep trying. On the other hand, wordpress is escaping << and then displaying << inside the code-block. So, have to work out how to get around that.
I'll look around to see if there's an unofficial one, but I doubt it.
The best solution would be to use a prettify-based highlighter, as one Mathematica.SE user has already made a Mathematica extension for prettify (the one that;s being used on Mma.SE)
