@Cow its great. my uncle (well the husband of my first cousin once removed) owns a soft serve ice cream machine. its great. and getting some coffee and adding some fresh made soft serve to is amazing
@Cow It makes it not match when followed by ".com", but only if the characters leading up to that were "corvidsindia.com". In other words, it would still match, when the [\W_]*+ matches anything other than nothing. The goal is that we want to avoid matching "corvidsindia.com", as that's already watched, but nothing else.
well, Arqade is just the official name for gaming.se, so Im only a mod for one site currently. almost ran for mod on another site at one point. but its an interesting story. I originally joined the network on SO to ask some questions for work. I wasnt getting any replies/answers to one of my questions, and I didnt have enough rep for offering a bounty, so i decided to try getting the association bonus to get enough rep for a bounty,
and figured gaming shouldnt be too hard to find questions i could answer
then i got involved with general moderation (handling queues, etc), and was pretty active on the site answering and asking questions, hanging out in chat, and involved on the meta.
then a few years later a few of our mods stepped down, and i nominated myself. I actually never won an election i participated in (we had a lot of good candidates) but i was runner up for the last election i participated in, and got called up afterwards due to another mod having to step down (life getting busy for them)
