I'm not sure if these answers qualify as spam. It's five link-only answers, all posted by a new user in a very short time who has no other posts, all linking to the same site. But the site is not linked in the user's profile, and I don't see evidence that the user is affiliated with the site (though I suspect it). I'll at least watch the domain:
!!/watch- yallalabs\.com

2:22 AM
@EliahKagan IMO, yes, 5 answers in 20 minutes all linking to the same site, with no attempt to answer the actual question in the answer does qualify as spam. In addition, at least one of the pages which they are linking to was posted today, which is nearly always an indicator of undisclosed affiliation and intentional promotion. I'd usually leave a message similar to:
You posted 5 answers in 20 minutes promoting the same site. That makes these answers look like spam. Are you associated with this site in any way? If you are affiliated, you *must disclose that affiliation in the post*. If you don't disclose affiliation, it's considered spam. See: [**What signifies "Good" self promotion?**](//meta.stackexchange.com/q/182212), [some tips and advice about self-promotion](/help/promotion), and [What makes something spam](//meta.stackexchange.com/a/58035).

@EliahKagan I'd also leave an additional comment making it clear that answers need to actually answer:
Just a link to a (your?) blog doesn't make for an answer. [Answers must actually answer the question](//meta.stackexchange.com/q/225370), without requiring the user to click to some other site to get the answer. Please include context around links. **[Always quote](/help/referencing) the most relevant part of an important link, in case the target site is unreachable or goes permanently offline.**
Take into account that being _barely more than a link to an external site_ is a possible reason as to [Why and how are some answers deleted?](/help/deleted-answers).

@Makyen Thanks. I've commented with those points. (Each of the posts already had a comment, though less detailed and not linking to anything, so I scrunched it all into a single comment. In the future I may just use those templates with little modification--I assume this is fine, and I'd been meaning to check with you on that a while back, but then never got around to it.)
Do you think I should comment on all the posts, or just one? All the posts already have some comment, but not a detailed one with links.

@EliahKagan You are, or anyone is, welcome to, without attribution, use or make derivative works of the comments I post on SE, or those messages I post in chat which are indicated as potential comments, which are with respect to the moderation of a post, when the new work is used as a comment on SE with the good faith intent to inform the author of a post, or a moderator(s), about moderation issues with a post.
Sorry, I know that may sound a bit narrow. Currently, I have someone else in another room that's maintaining an ongoing issue involving inappropriately copying things I write. I don't want to have given too wide a license, which may make the situation with that person more complex. If you'd like something more expansive then the above, I'm probably willing to provide it. I'd really prefer to have been in a position to just say "Sure, go for it".

@Makyen Thanks!
> Sorry, I know that may sound a bit narrow.
That's quite sufficient, at least for my current purposes and anything I anticipate wanting to do in the near future. I'll let you know if the situation changes, but I'm not right now thinking of a way it would.

OK. Sounds good. Feel free to ask if there's another use you'd like.

Thanks.

np. I'm glad I'm able to help.
@EliahKagan Sometimes I comment on just one and sometimes I comment on multiple posts by the author. To a large extent it depends on how many posts they've made, how egregious I feel their posts are, and if I see them in the process of posting (i.e. they post more after the comments). In this case, I'd probably just pick the one with the fewest comments to comment on. OTOH, if I feel repeating the message(s) might help to actually communicate, then commenting on multiple posts can be useful.
There are a few people that are willing to change and provide actual answers. If it looks like they might do so, then I'm happy to try to guide them towards something that fits our format (i.e. is actually a complete answer) while still allowing them to link to their site (as long as the link disclosed and is actually relevant to the current question).
