@FrankerZ I'm quite familiar with it. You are assuming that A) a newline is detected as $, which isn't the case unless the m (multiline) flag is set, which is not the case for that regex. B) that it's looking at the Markdown, when it's actually scanning the HTML (i.e. that will be trying to detect: <pre><code>print("SyntaxError: invalid syntax")</code></pre>).
@FrankerZ Let me think about it for a few minutes. The content you're detecting feels a bit outside our purview, but detecting trolling is something we do.
Well, like I mentioned, this is the second time in the past week I've seen this exact same "print(syntax error)...why is this giving me a syntax error". This is clearly a troll, -10 diamond deleted this time, and I think it would be a good idea to catch them going forward.
