Zoe
@Zoe /cc @double-beep
actually forgot another combo there, but that's fine

@SmokeDetector do they own the site?
@Zoe oh, yeah that's right!

@double-beep The formulation which we've generally been using is: quickfundsrecovery(?:\W*(?:at\W*)?gmail\W*(?:dot\W*)?com)? However, that's only appropriate when the username is sufficiently unique such that we don't need the domain in order to prevent FP.

Zoe
(?:\W*|\s*at\s*) and (?:\W*|\s*dot\s*) are always nice to have
... or \W* instead actually
@double-beep That's not always relevant btw

4:15 PM
@Makyen I meant, it's only appropriate to have the last ?, which makes the @domain optional, when the username is something that won't generate FP when looked for on it's own.

Zoe
You can hire spammers, if everything that was a possible flag candidate needed to have an owner that was affiliated with the site, a lot of spam would remain on the site.

@SmokeDetector blatantly off-topic, so fp-, but this will remove user from blacklist
@SmokeDetector let's see reaction in SOCVR. It is link-only, but not sure for spam.

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad ns for domain in answer (1): Update database when user is no more online by Auriel on stackoverflow.com

@SmokeDetector @double-beep Looks like that was already caught here

@thesecretmaster I force reported it to go to SOCVR because it wasn't there. It would get much more attention.

Is that something that we're OK with using report-force for? I would think that if that's something we want to enable, we'd want to make it something that doesn't duplicate content in MS.
IIRC report force was for filling in missed reports if MS was down?

yup

duplicate reports still happen when smokey reports a post which was just posted and later when the question or one of the answers was edited
and content in ms is duplicated also.

no need to re-report, @double-beep - that won't push it to SOCVR anyway

4:50 PM
@ArtOfCode actually it pushed it.

[status-bug]
should've shown up the first time it was reported; lack of showing up is a bug

there are a couple of reports that weren't posted in chat.SO
but I suspect this is because of the reason weight

this is the SOCVR definition that Smokey uses to figure when to post there
it posts only stackoverflow.com reports, and not responses to allspam commands

@ArtOfCode known bug, or needs an issue?

honestly, I blame chat and network stuff

4:55 PM
!!/blame

@thesecretmaster It's Magisch's fault.

!!/blame

@double-beep It's Loong's fault.

@SmokeDetector yes! Blame the mods!
