I had to build pkg-config from source the other day as a build dependency for something else that shouldn't have needed it, and it absolutely refused to compile with GCC 6.0+ with a metric ton of errors. I found a thread that said it was because the internal GLib is missing a patch and it worked fine on GCC 5 but I just ended up writing a bash script that faked the output of it since it was only to find the path to one library....
@Undo Can you hook up the Helios CI webhook to metasmoke like we have for the website and userscripts?
The migration from my account to undos introduces a complication I didn't think of and I'd have fought a bit against if I had...I can't see the error logs any more. Undos issue brought that to light
I'll get Helios to respond with a less generic error in the meantime, but it still shows down development without a full stack trace
The ci webhook makes sense once we aren't building several builds in rapid succession and Helios is stable
Then I'd like to know when the builds are complete
Tests have seen it too take about 3 to 3.5 minutes on deploy
I'll look at that. Bet it's possible. Full CloudWatch read-only perms would be fine for you; could probably restrict to just those functions and we'd be golden for everyone; probably still restrict for possibility of tokens leaking into logs.
But not for possiblity of doing something bad to my AWS account, which would be a full stop. We can prevent that easily, methinks.
