Nope, that was a dumb move IMHO.
tripleee thought it as spam at first
Why are you editing this o_o
I rolled back your edit because it made the post unreadable. I appreciate the attempt to provide more technical detail, but you want to try to provide a Minimal, Complete, and Verifiable example, not a dump of your production code with all its irrelevant details. — tripleee 3 mins ago
That was his reasoning
09:19
I call confabulation
@Kyll I just rolled back what I saw as an incorrect edit. But because the original was crap, I just quoted the example to make it a little easier on the eyes.

I'm not going to do too much effort on a question like that, no worries ;-)

@Oldskool Unless it's conflicting it's not really interesting IIRC
(I usually note a few recorded feedbacks per report, that's why I still do it anyway)
09:52
@Oldskool yeah, that's because many people use the script which automatically records feedback on spam flag
@Oldskool you have a review-approved metasmoke account, so you could use the script too to save a little effort
That way you only need to give feedback on false positives

le sigh
so last year, I managed an acting company's website for their annual show, and they were hell to deal with
this year, they decided it was an awesome idea to change the management structure and appoint someone new to do the website without telling me
last week, I get an email saying "hey our new guy who we didn't tell you about can't edit the website, why?", to which I was sorely tempted to say "if he can't work out why, he doesn't deserve to be a webmaster"
the problem? Guy didn't have an admin account.
17:14
That'd do it.
I did work through Freelancer before they got even more shady than they are now (I needed money). One of the people I worked for refused to pay me. They thought because they had "the source" they could just use my work for free.
I was nice and gave them notices for about 6 weeks that they owed me money
Turns out the "source" they had was just a piece of code that called my server for the sourcecode to render.
Heh. Sucked for them when that didn't return the expected result
They argued and called me all kinds of names, but when I showed them the email that explained how to install it and that it was actually making an API call to me - until they paid - they stopped complaining. Didn't pay me, but did stop complaining
Heh. Reasons why it's always useful to keep control of your own stuff.
Annoyingly enough, someone else owns the domain name for this site, so when I told them that their new guy wasn't an admin, they just pointed the domain elsewhere. But hey. I'm still working with them, for some reason.
They've chosen to use Wix this time, which is even worse than their last choice of Wordpress + visual composer... but hey. I'm slowly bringing them around to the idea that I could develop them a custom site quite easily.
