We need to pay more attention 8 posts got conflicted feedback this day and the day is not over yet

12:23 PM
@ferry did you actually check all of those?
How many of the conflicting ones with votes by me do you think I gave wrong feedback on (for self-review purposes)

Its a simple search for a list of posts with conflicting feedback, I didn't check the individual posts what the correct feedback should be, the best would be that some independent re-reviews them, like ArtOfCOde.
Smokey isn't really that effective if we cannot agree together what is spam, and what is not

Maybe it would be good if there was a specific command to change one's feedback on a post
to remedy mistakes

ArtOfCode when thru past 3 months posts already, solving common conflicts

@ferry
I noticed that if I give feedback to a post in 2 seperate rooms, it records it twice

1:00 PM
That's because user id's are per site (chat.stackexchange and chat.stackoverflow uses separate id's ) and the current model of users do not take this into account. Fixing this is hard because stack exchange does not provide a link from the networkprofile to the chat profile

@Ferrybig A quick and dirty fix would be to check against name equivalence

But that would need to update the name cache when someone changed their name (For example: Marshmallow (Also known as 404, sally, NormalHuman)
@SmokeDetector k

Do that on restart?

@BrockAdams That'd be me, thought I'd given you a heads up. Having that being the first thing people saw when they come in off that meta question...
Judgment call, probably the wrong call on my part.

Hey Undo

Oy

I have a feature request for smokey
A "change feedback" command
like sd changefeedback tp <link to post>

Not a bad idea

1:51 PM
sometimes, I type a command wrong

Might be difficult to persist through restarts

or a squence wrong
I know these to be wrong
But presently, I can not remedy the situation fully

[ SmokeDetector ] Mostly non-Latin answer: Phrases or words to describe the sound a scissors makes by Andre Golubevich on ell.stackexchange.com (@IͶΔ)

well it would simply delete your current feedback for that post, and then recast it
and if it recasts from true to false, it would also kill the blacklist entry for the poster

How often does this happen?

1:56 PM
Idk
two or three times so far in total
we often get conflicting feedback though
and then talk it out
this command would allow users to remedy conflicting feedback on their own
Or for instance, we had a case today

@Undo 8 posts had conflicting feedback today

where a user posted 3 answers w/ excessive self promotion
tuna sd f ed them in SOCVR

Basically the only thing you can't remedy on your own is metasmoke feedback

and then we collectively decided to nuke the guy
so we sd k ed them here
well

Which... maybe someone should be looking at that

1:58 PM
currently admins need to resolve conflicting metasmoke feedback
Mhm
Are there enough metasmoke admins to manually re-verify all conflicting feedback?
