Obviously it's not going to be consistent, but...

This is on the ancient server.

Ummm I'm not seeing anything logged when something hits a quota
Oh there we go
Seems better

7:56 PM
Except that 0.5 one...

grrr it moves so fast it's hard to get screenshots
.008 for four answers isn't bad

yeah.

This seems really delayed.

@Undo Maybe the request to the API is slow?

Like there's a long time between "quota met" and getting 'got answer from'
Shouldn't be that slow

we're talking five seconds
I wonder if JSON parsing is slow

I... oh :P

wow, this is a brilliant idea :-o I just noticed this and looked at the github and then the gibberish classifier and... yeah... this is why I don't see spam here, I guess.

sd tpu-
@PaluMacil The gibberish classifier doesn't do much yet, it's mostly regexes that we rely on.

@Undo I was wondering how the !!/pull works for Smokey. Is it complicated, or do you think I could implement it pretty easily?

8:17 PM
git pull?

[ SmokeDetector ] SmokeDetector started at rev 7b31f6d (Undo1: rm benchmarking) (running on Undo's local machine)

@michaelpri It's a little interesting
We're running a kind of hypervisor script. The python bot exits with a specific exit code, the bash script sees that exit code and runs git pull.

Hmm, interesting

Oh, that's interesting. I was making an IRC bot a few days ago and I was trying to implement a restart command; I ended up just running while :; do ./bot.rb; done and making the restart command exit. That makes it impossible to have a quit command so maybe I could do something like that :P
