12:00 AM
I always SSH tunnel when I'm at an airport.

You're welcome!

thanks!

@AnnonomusPerson thank you... oh and I wouldn't mind a pizza too by the way. :D

Pizza for me too!

@Undo Grrr any public wifi is bad.
@André In a minute!
@hichris123 k

12:00 AM
@AnnonomusPerson The local university has some pretty decent wifi

@Undo meh
Still public... and your firewall going crazy

It's 2am here guys ...

@AnnonomusPerson delicious.

@André Thanks!
Here!
Fresh! :P
@HamZa Digital midnight snack?

I skip ...

12:04 AM
@AnnonomusPerson thanks. Do I need to pay anything for that ?

@HamZa Don't worry, I only burn @hichris's food.

I'm going to sleep. Tomorrow I've got a meeting, something about wordpress (what a nightmare)

@André Umm... couple upvotes? :D Just kidding
@hichris123 Cool. You know that you'll have to make all of the buttons and such from scratch?

@HamZa good luck for tomorrow then. :)

@HamZa Wordpress isn't that bad...

12:05 AM
@André merci

@AnnonomusPerson partition*
They must have messed it up pretty bad.

@AnnonomusPerson dude, some students worked on it and they massacred it
also the client is not easy to deal with

@HamZa Oh that makes more sense now. WP isn't bad to begin with.

@AnnonomusPerson Why?

@Seth Distro upgrade "Let's unplug a running computer!" (Accident) //cc @hichris
@hichris123 Does OpenCL have built in controls?

12:07 AM
@AnnonomusPerson well I didn't dig into the code that deep. But from what I've seen it's leaning to the bad side. Let's not get into a war here :P

@AnnonomusPerson ... I dunno.

WP is too heavy in my opinion, that's why I don't use it.

@hichris123 But you'll have to add a lot of extra "fluf" for the GUI... figure out what it's clicking based on the coords.
@André I don't use it but it isn't too bad. I've seen it on a RPi before.

@AnnonomusPerson And you blame the linux partition?
o_O
:P

@Seth No the person.

12:09 AM
@AnnonomusPerson Couldn't I integrate WF or whatever?

@hichris123 Windows forms? Not that I know of...
I was recovering deleted data today.... a pain.

@AnnonomusPerson Why not?

@hichris123 Isn't OpenCL a graphic platform?

@AnnonomusPerson ... what do you mean?

@AnnonomusPerson OpenCL is just a way of running code on the GPU, it doesn't have anything to do with graphics. For graphics you probably mean OpenGL.

12:14 AM
@André Ahh. Sorry I stayed up late last night... as did you :P
@hichris Now it makes sense.

@AnnonomusPerson yeah I often stay up very late :D

@AnnonomusPerson You had a backup plan, right? :P
RIGHT?

S3 FTW!

12:29 AM
And Glacier
and off-site physical backups :P
they're relatively fragile, but pretty cheap

Glacier?

cheaper long-term S3 storage, basically

Huh, okay.

Well then. :P

12:33 AM

12:49 AM
@Undo Yeah... about that :D
(Nah: there was nothing on it that I needed: I installed it a bit back and forgot about it)

@Undo Sure!

Will help handling time :P

We can post spam on each other's site and then delete it :P
!!!
Refreshes page
Still 0 :(
Yay!

1:10 AM
@AnnonomusPerson Want me to change that? serial downvotes

@hichris123 Nooooooo!
:D
@Undo All flags helpful except one....
He said he would edit it later but he didn't

and there's another one
gtg now, cya

I see thanks @Undo

cough @AnnonomusPerson

@Undo I would like to see Charcoal ran on Arduino and logged to chat just to see what's flagged... I'm pretty bored.

1:13 AM
@AnnonomusPerson We can kinda do that.

Take a cough drop!
@hichris123 I mean don't flag it just post to chat. If I want to I can delete them I just want to see efficiency.
:D

@AnnonomusPerson ... check your diamond.

@hichris123 Why? Did you cough on it?!?! Polishes it ASAP
Ohh 3 flags...

@Annon Why declined?
Could you provide a screenshot or an example to help visualize what you suggest? — AsheeshR Mar 3 at 15:16

Wrong button sorry

1:17 AM
:P

I wish I could go back...

... I really don't care.
Just delete it. :P

Other one was deleted :D

12 total flags handled
6 flags handled today
^ Charcoal
Though the ones today were invalid.

Ones today invalid? What do you mean by that?
Thanks for those flags :D

1:19 AM
@AnnonomusPerson ^

BTW it appears next to the diamond, not on it. The diamond does a different feature
I see. So that was charcoal?

Yeah.
Me and my special CM tools. :D

@hichris123 It should be CCM tools...

With a diamond. :D

@hichris123 A fake one :D

BTW it appears next to the diamond, not on it. The diamond does a different feature
That's why I was confused.

1:22 AM
@AnnonomusPerson Why?
@AnnonomusPerson ... not really. :P

@hichris123 CM = community moderator CCM would mean Charcoal Community Moderator. Or you could do ChM (Charcoal Moderator)
Like Pops is a CM.

^ @Annon

Why don't I get a login :D

... because you would just be locked out? :P

I was kidding.

So no others on Arduino that it flagged?

@AnnonomusPerson ... what do you mean?

I mean are there any other comments on Charcoal for Arduino SE?

Yeah.

Some of these are pretty good comments

1:27 AM
Yeah - which I'll click invalid on. :P

I want to look at the code for it. A moderator's account for a site might be a good idea: where I can see all of that data just for their site and look at the comments and skip the queue if.

@Undo Charcoal's messed up on some comments...

Yeah: 90% of those I'd say no to if they were in my queue.
@hichris Which file in the code filters out the comments to give to the user? I cant find that.
@hichris How does it decide which comments to show to a user? //cc @undo

1:47 AM
@AnnonomusPerson We use SEDE queries to get the comments, then order then by length.
@AnnonomusPerson ^

And what is the "I am a moderator on this site" button do?
@hichris123 So it pulls all comments?

@AnnonomusPerson Nukes the comments if you paste a JS thingy into your console.

@hichris123 Hmm

@AnnonomusPerson Nope. It's queries like WHERE Text LIKE '%edited%' or stuff like that.

@hichris123 It should also not flag any "I edited" comments less than 5 days old so the poster can read.
I should go. See you around!

1:51 AM
@AnnonomusPerson Meh, I dunno.
Cya.

2:39 AM
likes being able to download 1 GB files in 15 minutes

3:04 AM
I'm gonna go now, good night everyone. :)

Q: What's the difference/relationship between Arduino and AVR?

user3383182I'd always thought Arduino was a microcontroller platform but the actual microcontroller is an AVR chip made by Atmel, or something like that made by someone else, based on a RISC ISA, and Arduino is usually used to refer to the whole circuit board powered by this AVR chip. Is my understanding co...

Q: what platform should I use to program a quadcopter?

YMWI'm starting a project that involves programming a quadcopter to follow something on the ground. I'm supposed to use off-the-shelf components and software for the basic flight control- my contribution will be in the higher-level guidance algorithm, the camera control, and the image processing. Q: is GPIO export necessary?

You have ten seconds to flag this:
This isn't really a question about writing or editing, and is off-topic for this site. But fear not, I'll migrate this to the Software Recommendations site. — neilfein Mar 28 at 2:27
