I'm into fountain pens. IMO the pilot metropolitan is one of the best out there despite being one of the cheapest. Better than a lot of the gold nibbed thousand dollar ones ive tried at pen shows.

@PseudoLooped Mine is crazyhouse. Just a few days ago, I played against a friend, and accidentally made a miscalculation, leading to me losing my queen unexpectedly. I lost soon after that, but the Lichess analysis said that actually after losing the queen I was winning by a very big margin... I think that, as long as you don't play against a computer, crazyhouse will always be quite fun.

@leslietownes Same. Even though I have been using it, it's only like a little bit each week, so the 'lead' lasts nearly forever.

@user21820 one of the funniest things about anti-chess, for me, is that if you make one wrong move like two or three turns into the game, you’ve already lost as you’re stuck in a 16-chain capture combo all because you moved a pawn one tile too far

Atomic is great too, because you can be in check, but you’re allowed to ignore that check if you are able to immediately nuke (literally) your opponents king

Or that anti-chess is weakly solved, and moving the king-pawn forward one tile on the first turn for white is a near guaranteed win as long as white plays perfectly from then forth

Crazyhouse is super dope tho, in that you can capture enemy pieces and deploy them later at any time, genuinely one of the better variants to watch at a high level because it’s insane

at this time, i have memorized and worked out most of the anti-chess openings and counters
