@Aarthi On the DIY front it's frustrating. Trying to get a few jobs done for my mum and each one either takes 10x longer or throws up other jobs that need doing.
My last bath project included several trips to find the right size pipe to connect the bathroom sink to the trap. On the last trip, I realized it was in the box labelled "for bathroom sinks".
@BMitch patpat Me, I'm debating when/how to change out my kitchen faucet. It's ugly and terrible, but an aerator will tide it over for several more months.
This job in the bathroom has involved several trips to get connectors, taps that were out of stock, and the latest problem washers that are a little to small so they get forced up the tap rather than being trapped between the trap and the nut.
I'm a big fan of renting tools from home depot, especially the half day rental that lets you keep it overnight, I've done that for carpet cleaning, drywall lift, etc
that reminds me, I need to find a sucker that wants to buy an old 32" tube TV
It's amazing how fast some old powertools of mine went via the free section of craigslist, the batteries didn't work and I don't think you can buy new ones, but I had 20 people ready to take them in 30 minutes.
i'm desperately trying to sell some chairs of mine
i'm hoping they get picked up today, though then the question becomes, do I go back to manhattan to clean my place, or go in the early morning tomorrow?
ok, time to re-secure the TV to the hand truck and then see if the neighbors cat has come out of hiding (cat sitting duty, let the fella out this morning and haven't seen him since).
