@Alan Evangelista: je trouve que vous abusez avec toutes vos questions cinématographiques : on n'est pas un service de traduction (traducteur interprète).

🔎 Mes chaussures sont marron.
🔎 Il a les cheveux bruns.

➡️ I have two questions:
1- Is "brun/brune" an colour adjective for hair, while "marron" is a colour adjective for other things?
2- Why does one use the single adjective "marron" in the first sentence?

1) It's not strictly divided as such. "Marron" is less common in general.
But especially for hair, it seems...
2) Some colours, especially those that are derived from objects, are invariable, as if they were short for "couleur de ___"
Interestingly, one does speak of hair as « châtain » (near-synonym of « marron »), suggesting that one collocation got fixed at some point for probably arbitrary reasons
