Q: Is my guppy pregnant......? How do I know how far she is?

I can’t tell if my guppy is pregnant. She keeps floating in one spot and rolling around on the rocks in the tank. She’s also trying to attack the other 2 fish in the tank and her 3 one month old babies. If she is pregnant how do I know how far along she is. I know they are 28-31 days gestational ...

Bhutu today pooped on the third day after not pooping for three days and OMG her poop is thick in diameter. I wonder how is it possible for her thin intestine to hold such thick poop, I mean it is not long, just too thick in diameter

Another interesting fact .... when my grandmother scolds her, she protests by stopping to be a cat, rather she becomes goat and makes a sound which exactly goats make.

today she was running like Usian Bolt, and my grand mother joined by kicking her 4 times. She retaliated by kicking back four times and giving a bite.

Then my grandmother started chasing her. She gave up and surrendered by lying down on floor and visciously shaking her tail.

@trondhansen any idea why she becomes a goat?

@Sonevol i think the kicking part has to stop,cats have to show it when they want you to stop in one way or another.

every cat show this in different ways my previous cat electra did slap me if i teased her and trine let me feel her teeths,she do not bite me she only shows me she can do it if i do not stop.

@Sonevol shaking their tail doesn't equal surrender in cats - it generally translates as a "don't f##k with me"

when a cat starts to shake the tail it might be a sign of anger but it is not allways this it can allso mean the cat is eager to do something,in my cat trine it is often what she does if i ask her if she wants to go outside she shakes her tail if she is thinking about it but have not made up her mind yet.

@trondhansen @motosubatsu my grandmother sometimes beats me too and she laughs while doing so. She thinks it is very funny to beat someone.

And my cat has this habit of biting and kicking whenever anybody touches her. She bites me 100 times and kicks me 1000 times per day and she thinks that it is very good sports.

@Sonevol I'm sure your grandmother is a very nice person and all but I can't say I see the funny in beating other people let alone (relatively) defenseless animals

@Sonevol this isn't uncommon cat behavior.. but as much as we might grumble about the sting of cat scratches or bites the average house cat isn't in a position to do much damage to a full grown human - the reverse isn't true. A moderate kick to a human that might result in a nasty bruise can literally kill a cat :(

Also, if the cat associates people with kicking, maybe the scratching and bites are self defense

OMG you are getting serious, it's all part of a play, like cat litter mates kick and bite each other.

No, my cat knows that I like her bites and kicks, everyday I spend time with my cat beating each other, just playful beating, not serious

@Sonevol for me kicking an animal is as bad as kicking a newborn baby,i did hit my father straight into horisontal possision after he kicked my cat and i do not regret it.

@Sonevol oh I understand - it's more that I'm concerned because even a gentle "playful" kick from a human to a cat a) isn't going to be seen that way from a cat's perspective and b) it can still do a lot of damage

My grandmother will never kick to nurt the cat, it's likd when you pat a baby

and while I'm sure your grandmother doesn't want to hurt your cat she can do it accidentally and no-body is going to win

Actually my grandmother is the most concerned person when Bhutu gets ill. And everyday when my grandmother eats Bhutu continuojsly pulls her hand with her paws. Bhutu wants her share as well.

You don't understand as it is absolutely rare for a person to play with a cat while behaving like a cat oneself

I have no doubt your grandmother loves Bhutu - as I say I'm worried about accidental injury more than anything

@Sonevol that's a bit harsh.. I play with my kits all the time, often in very cat-like ways but I don't use my feet while doing so as it's much harder to judge the amount of strength you are using with your legs/feet then it is with your hands

Q: feeding routine of a pregnant cat

trine is depressed it have come 70-80CM of snow in less than 24 hours so she is sleeping a lot and she is hiding under the sofa.

last time when it came this amount of snow was in the 80s the cat i had then was mons he was only a kitten,he did jump from the balcony and disappeared in the snow i had to run outside and dig him out lol

This is what I meant by biting and kicking? Do you think that Bhutu is stressed and defending herself from attack ?

It is absolutely strange to think that one is beating up one's cat and as a defence cat is kicking and biting

@Sonevol I can't view the vid right now as I'm at work.. but it was a good call to post it as we might have very different ideas about what "kicking" entails. I'll check it out when I get home tonight

No it's mine play with cat, grandmother's one I will post tomorrow, and in my case I meant CAT is kicking and biting me which she does 24 hours .. andcI don't thik it is in self defence

@RebeccaRVT My dog is 13 years old he was fine and energetic yesterday this morning he would not come over to me. he was like in a rag doll state. He can walk but is very sluggish

My real question is that we had an exterminator come in 2 days ago for sugar ants and my dog was licking the rug yesterday night (not sure if the exterminator dripped on the rug). Could ant bait do that dog?

@RTarson Could be a number of things, what's in the ant bait?

what color are your dogs gums?

@RebeccaRVT I'm not sure but it was a type of bait that attracts ants cause it like food but its posion. haha not sure what he used

Next bet would be a workup at the vets office, not much can be known without running some bloodwork

he is a biter and i knew something was wrong when I could just totally roll him around. I was able to take him for a walk but like i said not his usual. I'm thinking its probably time to take him to the vet. Thank you for listening and helping out
