Q: Why does my cat attack everyone?

jessicatI've had a cat for about three years and ever since it was a kitten it would always bite me and other guests whenever they try to pet it. It only gets along with my brother and my brother doesn't even like cats. It's quite rude to me and will only rub against me when it is hungry, but whilst I'm ...

@Flummox - Good plan going to meta with that question - That's a really good one to ask.

@JourneymanGeek pretty dog!

@Henders What do you figure out of the line "bad impression to the users's intentions"? It's really disappointing and encourages one to stop visiting the site.

Q: What is the stance on users who answer their own questions, very fast?

FlummoxThe last few days I have come across a couple of questions of the same user that follow this pattern: Q - I would like to own / buy / keep / how to take care this pet. A - (quite soon after posting question) lengthy answer to own question. Now, I think it's good to have active users, and this ...

@Sonevol Eh? I'm not sure what you mean?

A paticular line in the above post ^^

Ah, and you want to know what they mean?

Yep

1:54 PM
I think they mean it might look like someone who self answers isn't interested int he community, maybe? I don't think it's relevant to be honest because it's a common misconception that self-answers are bad :)
Or that they're only interested in the rep?

I already have a bitter experience in this site and I stopped completely visiting it when I was publicly abused by @YvetteColomb

@Sonevol Let's stop this now. You were never publicly abused. I thought we'd moved on from that..?

I think when one invests many hours in finding quality answer for the site, it is not very bad thing, if that person gets rewarded by some reputation, is it?

@Sonevol I agree, hence the answer I posted on that meta question.

2:11 PM
To be clear: Self-answering a question is perfectly acceptable thing to do. It is encouraged even.

@Sonevol Seriously stop it with this. I thought you'd moved past this and I'm not tolerating any more of your accusations. Everyone here contributes.

2:27 PM
@YvetteColomb @Henders I suffer from this mental disease bipolar disorder. I suffer from acute mood swings. I really have trouble controlling my mood, easily get upset and try crying visciouly.
@YvetteColomb I am sorry

@Sonevol that's ok, apology accepted. I want you to know, I like your contributions and you've been doing some great stuff lately.
@Sonevol you're not alone in that - I hope you're ok

Wow! Looks good!

3:11 PM
@YvetteColomb Horse!
@Henders will post ash photos and more pictures of Rooney the fuzzbeast when I get back to SG in a few days

@JourneymanGeek can you please come here?

I am here
In fact, I am always here, only the value of here changes

Here I mean

ehh, should I get pulled into issues not in my ballpark?

@JourneymanGeek lost? I'm not lost! I know exactly where I am.. I'm right here!

3:26 PM
I am here too! What a coincidence! A different here but not here all the same!

3:43 PM
@JourneymanGeek Yay! Rooney is the dog you posted earlier?

Q: Dog breed variations - can average weight be wrong?

FlaidMy wife and I rescued a 25lb dog from a humane society who definitely had some papillon in him. However, the "average weight" according to a bunch of different websites of a papillon is 7.5-10 lbs... so we figured he had something else in him. I bought my wife a Wisdom Panel 3.0 Dog Breed Ident...

Hey @Spidercat :)

Hey, @Sonevol - Thanks for your edit on this answer: pets.stackexchange.com/a/15337/6826
The OP rolled it back which he'd done to me previously too and I hadn't noticed. I've now re-done the edit. If it's rolled back again then it can be locked to stop it being rolled back.
My point is, your edit was good.
