I would post baby bunny pics but really you have to hold them to get the full joy :)

5:20 PM

@Chad He looks sad.

@iKlsR She is actually looking at the baby bunnies

@Chad I just knew it, I was about to edit. ;)

@Chad I see what you mean, they look snuggly.
@Chad Those claw marks tho?

5:23 PM
Yeah... if you looked at my forarms you would think it was crying out for help :p

My friend's new kittys.

We don't get rare or alot of different breeds often here in the carib so our pets are really generic for the most part.

Found this little one at my gate last year.
Wouldn't normally take in strays, especially the common ones but she was wounded and covered with fleas.
This answer.

A: How do I get rid of fleas?

iKlsRI found a stray puppy some months back at the gate to my home and she was covered with fleas and cuts. She kept biting herself and would also wimper in pain. You could see the fleas in her fur, they were huge. First, I got a small empty aerosol bottle with a spray nozzle and bought a small bag o...

That image kinda reminds me of this.. heh.

I'm tempted to post a new question: "My wife keeps seeing pictures of pets needing rescue posted on facebook; how can I get her to stop asking if we can have more pets?" :P

5:35 PM
(Not that I'm not sympathetic... but we've already got 4 cats, and I'm fairly certain our oldest cat will murder us in our sleep if we get a 5th!)

^^ mr. thackeray binx, resident bunny gentleman at my house

My dad says if my mom gets anymore pets someone will have to leave the house to make room. He's volunteered. :P (My mom has 4 cats, two of which are special needs)

user15026
@AbbyT.Miller Awww, cute. I love bunnies. I had one as a kid, and he was super awesome.

@AbbyT.Miller Rex fur is the best

he is the softest critter i've ever encountered

5:37 PM
The signs are there.

and this is blitz, one of my former roommate's kitties:

@iKlsR Our oldest is 16 pounds... I'm pretty sure she'd have little trouble smothering us :)

and THIS is the foster gentleman with the leash problems:

user15026
@iKlsR Oh, I am so doomed, my cat loves to do this

@AshleyNunn practice makes perfect. She'll eventually get better. o.o

^ Norbert, the derpiest cat that ever was a cat

user15026
He isn't very bright, but he loves -everybody-.

@iKlsR She's definitely the smartest of our 4, and I've noted in the past that the resemblance between that Oatmeal cartoon and Orla is uncanny :)

5:44 PM
@Beofett You have been warned! o.o

user15026
@iKlsR The more you post from this, the more doomed I realize I am..... :P

;)

This is why I'm so resistant to getting another cat! She grudgingly accepted the 2nd, is still mad about the third, and is actively warring with the 4th.

user15026
@AbbyT.Miller Awww, matching hats! :D

5:45 PM
love the hats!

blitz was NOT happy about the hat

@AbbyT.Miller Hats, always the purrfect accessory :)

user15026
Norbert would have tried to eat it, that is how he interacts with everything, by first seeing if he can eat it.

I couldn't tell from the previous picture, but blitz is the spitting image of my mother's cat from when I was a child.

This has been happening every time I sit down since I got back from vacation.

@AnnaLear Someone missed you, I think.

I'm looking for suggestions on how to handle this question:
5
Q: How do I get rid of fleas?

BeofettMy cats, dog, and ferrets all have fleas! What is the best way to get rid of them, without exposing my pets to dangerous chemicals? Can treatments for larger dogs also be used for smaller animals like ferrets, or pocket pets?

Should I leave the first sentence, and then break the second sentence out into a separate question?

It seems like a fine question as is to me.

@Beofett I think the question about using the medicine on smaller animals is a different question personally

user15026
I think it works as it is :)

I'm not a big fan of 1-sentence questions (although they're better than 1-sentence answers), but Chad isn't the only one to suggest the question be split up.

5:54 PM
I Can edit the question to be longer. but I think that in this case it does not really need context.
The only reason I think it should be split up is because getting rid of fleas is really a whole house process. Can i treat small animals with dog treatment is tangental to this question.

Just make sure you guys aren't editing for the sake of editing. "I would like to see more words" isn't that great a reason to edit.

@AnnaLear I agree most of the time a single sentence is not enough for a question... In this case it is.

@Chad I don't think it's that unrelated, though. It's just a sub-question in a bigger context that the asker would like the answers to address.

@AnnaLear I agree its not unrelated. But I think both questions stand well on their own
I would not vote to close it either way though.

@Chad That's possible, but there's little to no harm in having them together as well.

5:58 PM
I am a little concerned that a question of "can I use flea treatments intended for animal x for animal y", by itself, may skirt a bit too close to the "ask a vet" category

I'm not too worried about that.

@AnnaLear Right, it looks fine where it is, because it is a part of the overall question, just a different facet.
If it were more specific than it was (such as "Can I use this on a ferret with a history of skin condition X?"), then I think it warrants a new question.
Ok, since we're posting pet pictures...

user15026
@Coronus Turtle! <3

That one's better.
She loves being pet on the head. :)

I love turtles.

@AnnaLear @AshleyNunn @Chad Thank you all for the feedback :)

any time :)

@AnnaLear Please when you get this message, help me thank the Community that responded to my flag :)

@PreciousTijesunimi Err, what?

@AnnaLear I flagged one of my post for some days now. Explaining some things to the community manager. I thought no action was going to be taken. I just logged in and saw that actions have been taken. I want you to help me thank whoever took the actions Since you are a Community manager also
It is like a burden has been lifted of me

Ah, sure. I'll pass your thanks along.

@AnnaLear Thanks :)

@AnnaLear Robert Cartiano said The entire Community Team is in New York this week for a Summit meeting. Is the summit over?

yes, we're all back where we normally live.
The summit was last week.

@AnnaLear Oh. OK. Then that means we'll go public soon?

Q: Are we missing anything to end the Private Beta?

James JenkinsWe are about a week into Private Beta, and seem to be doing great. Is there anything in particular we need to focus on addressing to get ready for public Beta?

@PreciousTijesunimi yes
