iirc this is GitHub feature to prevent one workflow triggering itself (or multiple workflows triggering each other) over and over

You'll have to use a Personal Access Token instead of GITHUB_TOKEN to get workflows to run after the Scalafix changes

@VyxalBot So the purpose of this PR is to get more consistent formatting, like Black

It adds trailing commas everywhere so that every time you add a new argument or parameter or whatever, the previous line doesn't show up in the diff

newlines.source = fold will, in many places, remove newlines and make things shorter, although that's not the main point of the PR

newlines.selectChains = unfold will add newlines in many places, but hopefully it'll make things more readable

newlines.forceBeforeMultilineAssign = def will definitely make things more readable, it adds newlines after def foo = if the body spills onto the next line

This is not an important PR, nor is it necessarily a good idea, so feel free to reject (or ask for changes)

So newlines.forceBeforeMultilineAssign = def means that when you have def foo() = ..., it puts a newline after = if the whole body won't fit on one line

I originally had newlines.source = fold, but that was too aggressive with removing newlines, so I put it back to the default (classic)

newlines.inInterpolation = avoid means that in s"${long expression here}", it tries to avoid newlines inside the ${...}
