Some ad examples with different snippets
06:42
the multiple pictures aren't to say there'll be multiple ad submissions
they're rather examples of what the final ad could be
unless of course we did submit multiple ads and do a little group voting
07:32
the general concept is really good
i'd probably lean against the quine one and more towards the fenwick tree one
but the general framing is perfect
07:48
It's inspired by the language bar ad that shows the actual language bars
08:47
Maybe show a solution with an explanation?

@emanresuA not enough space
Besides, the idea is to make someone curious enough to click the ad and ask what it means here
10:38
I think the code box fonts need to be a little bigger too
11:17
just testing different spacings/sizes
CMQ: What snippet for the ad?

Perhaps something that shows off the syntax highlighting? (any good snippets with nested loops or something?)

The thing is, you say "Readable" but people probably won't think that's readable.
maybe you should explain it or something

@Steffan not enough space
+ if they don't know what it means, and they're curious they'll click the ad and be sent here where they can get a much better explanation than the ad could provide
Then put it all in the code box
There's still not enough space
Explanations take several lines
You'd have to remove the footer box, which gets rid of the signature tag line
Y'all realise there's space restrictions right? It has to be 500x600
So I can't just go expanding boxes as I please
Can put the tagline in the code box, and shrink the font
23:09
that would lose some symmetry but not a bad idea
It's an ad - you don't want to have to spend 5 minutes squinting at a smaller font when you can have big font to catch people's attention and then get them here, explain the ad and then teach the rest of the language
