well the thing is

jelly is pretty much stable now; there are forks to optimize things but it is a good golfing language in its current state and remains competitive

vyxal is not as good yet (IMO at least don't pitchfork me) hence why we still are actively developing it

eventually it may reach a state where it can thrive in permanent stasis but for now it still needs upgrades
