@Randal'Thor Re: I didn't say it was mandatory or dictated by a policy so your comment is correct. Yet I stand by my opinion that detailed questions attract more detailed and on-point answers. Other than that, at least some form of engagement with the question after posting it would have been nice on OP's part

@Gallifreyan Sometimes you need to stress the difference between "preferred" and "required". Especially when the post is closed (I can't see why it's "too broad", btw), and also especially as a mod :-) You know all that stuff about the diamond carrying extra weight - advice from a mod can sometimes be seen as more than it really is.

I'm reading the third Witcher book, and wow, its story is so complicated I can't follow it. There are too many characters for my taste. But if you like ASOIAF, you'll probably like that too.
Also, why does a translator even uses the phrase “lebegő rémalak” unironically?

That might be stretching it a little (although, I haven't read AsoIaF, I admit). It does have a bigger narrative and political scope than the short stories, which concentrated specifically on Geralt. But it's still quite a stringent storyline.
