I'm re-reading Agatha Christie's short story collection The labors of Hercules. It's quite impressive how she could write mystery short stories, because there's so few events and so few characters to introduce in a short story, it's hard to make them actually mysterious. In some of the stories, she even fails. The one I'm reading right now is the most memorable one: "The Stymphalean Birds".
