FWIW, some chat on the tag markdown-preview here: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/10243/2020/2/19 — Todd Trimble ♦ yesterday

@ToddTrimble I suppose that you wanted to use
[meta-tag:markdown-preview]
rather than [tag:markdown-preview]
. (The current text of the comment links to the main site rather than to meta.

@YCor The syntax for tags is
[tag:tagname]
tagname and for meta [meta-tag:tagname]
tagname - it is the same as in the posts. (It probably does not work in rooms which aren't associated with any site. That is most likely explanation why it did not work in the sandbox.)

linked-questions The question The divisor bound for binary quadratic forms links to The divisor bound in number fields - which is not shown in the sidebar.
This is just a temporary comment - in order to update the list of linked questions in the sidebar: The divisor bound in number fields. — Martin Sleziak 1 min ago
linked-questions The answer "“Kummerian” fields?" links to the answer "Can a non-surjective polynomial map from an infinite field to itself miss only finitely many points?" - but neither of them is shown as linked.

linked-questions The question "Can a non-surjective polynomial map from an infinite field to itself miss only finitely many points?" is linked also in other posts.

specific-question Maybe learning-roadmap would be suitable for Road map for moduli space/moduli problem/moduli stack. OTOH, all five spots for tags are already taken.

@MartinSleziak Should we really encourage multiplication of such meta tags? I'd prefer keep the specific tags in such a case, and keep the generic reference-request.

@YCor Well, apparently the tag exists since 2015 - and if there were some objections about it, I have missed thim.
Admittedly it is rather small - 7 questions now, 6 questions in September. It's possible that people did not object to it simply because many users did not notice the tag.
