Hi I had a question closed in the math SE site that had been recieved well up till now, and it is about something I thought was of interest and on topic,will you be explicitly informed that the question is closed because it is more appropriate in another community? I feel arrogant thinking this sure because I'm not exactly a research level mathematician or anything for that matter but I also cannot understand why it needs to be closed all of a sudden

@AdamL To be honest, I am a bit unsure what you're actually trying to ask here. In any case, the main chatroom might be more suitable - as this room is specifically intended for issue related to editing, tags and related topics.

I should add a caveat that the MO chatroom is frequented only by very few people.

ok thanks well i suppose i can just copy paste there, but to clarify, a question i asked in the general math community was closed 12 days ago, if I was going to guess why, it's because it would be better suited here, but in having said that if just posted the question as it is, it's not as well asked as some of the things I've seen on MO, I guess I need guidance with going about bringing it tto he standard here

which may very well be the explicit notice that Adam we think it's rubbish and it belongs nowhere, I don't know I have no way of knowing for sure as to why it was closed nor whom

ok thanks anyway well I have edited it to clarify there is a question being asked I mean I understand where he is coming from and he is not out of place making mention of the ambiguity that was there, improving myself in that regard is still a working progress which can lose momentum as why even bother pretty quickly for someone in my situation
