@Eric I just did statistics on this, so I know how many we have. It's less than 15% of all questions, but they help the stats a lot because they have a much higher answer rate.

Q: What flavors have already been featured in "Flavor Day"?

JNatWe've been promoting an event that takes place every Saturday: "Flavor Day". In each Flavor Day, one or two flavors are picked and questions about them are encouraged (for further info and suggestions for flavors you'd like to see featured, see this post). This post's purpose is to keep track of...

In any case, I guess it's okay to let you have this one. There's no reason why I have to become the top expert on yaoi on this site.

:"Ranobe" redirects here. For the Madagascar locality, see Berevo-Ranobe. A is a style of Japanese novel primarily targeting middle and high school students (young adult demographic). "Light novel" is a wasei-eigo, or a Japanese term formed from words in the English language. Such short, light novels are often called or LN in the West. They are typically not more than 40,000–50,000 words long (the shorter ones being equivalent to a novella in US publishing terms), rarely exceed 200 pages, often have dense publishing schedules, are usually published in bunkobon size, and are often ill...

We should deliberately only post ones which will end up getting kept. No "Who is this character hugging an apple?" questions.

Youtube knows it's audience. I just got an ad for maids. Unfortunately they were 3d so I wasn't so interested.

KLU got a new follower who asked 4 questions, but it seems like all 4 are inappropriate. 2 are entirely in Klingon, 1 is opinion-based, and the last is a request rather than a question. I want to comment on all 4 of them but I don't want to drive the user away.

Worrying about these things isn't worth it. We should focus on generating better questions and answers. The traffic numbers will eventually improve as long as we do that.

Is there a limit for how many images can be included in an answer? I'm going to be at around 40 for one answer I'm writing.

So I'd suggest we look through all the anime with strange inexplicable endings and make some questions out of them. I'll try to do this based on my list, but others should do the same.
Mar 16, 2013 18:14
If we want to generate search traffic, it seems to me like the most searched things for any particular show are usually going to be the endings. Plot holes in the middle tend to get forgotten, but ones at the end are memorable. So we should make sure to have good questions and answers like that as possible.

Just wanted to drop a quick note saying if you're creating this "unofficial" community identity because of traditions in anime culture, that's great and carry on. If you're doing it because you think you have to in order to comply with our trademark guidance on any social media pages you create, that's not exactly true. You can title pages something like "Anime & Manga Stack Exchange Community" and otherwise make it clear that the pages are not run by SE the company, and that's sufficient. — Laura Feb 20 at 18:50

@Eric We should work on the title sometime... it's a bit generic imo
