Note, however, that "deserving" is not the question. You should vote for the people you think would make the best mods. Those aren't necessarily the ones with the best candidate score or reputation.

it would be nice if there was an indicator on the flag page that would tell us if the post had been edited since the flag was cast.

The single transferable vote (STV) is a voting system designed to achieve proportional representation through ranked voting in multi-seat constituencies (voting districts). If there's someone you feel would make a good mod, upvote them. If you don't really care one way or the other, don't vote. But if you think they would be a bad mod, downvote them.

@ByteCommander Don't forget that apart from a core set of regulars, not everyone who votes in the primaries will vote in the election and vice versa.

@Videonauth It does not really matter if we are elected or not. You will reach 10k and 20k and will be able to do many things without being a mod.

At some point all your knowledge may be exausted ))) I wrote answers for a couple of years at forums.ubuntu.ru, when accidentally found AU. At a first glance it looked wierd for me and I did not use it. At some point I got how it works about a yer ago. Now I love SE and AU.
