Evening - My connectivity will be intermittent for the next 2 weeks, while I get a tan and do non computer-y things in a very remote village in Spain. So my modding will be very light...

Hi @Aravona - yes thanks. Weather has turned good here. And have just has an hour's walk in the sun this lunchtime. Trying to get slightly fitter, as my wife and kids are all showing me up!

Anyway, pup is getting bigger every day... Will be outdoors soon enough... Geocaching and hiking etc

@CharlieBrumbaugh You assume I would be mad at the downvoter no matter how they explain their downvote. That's not true. I think downvotes are an important part of the SE system, and I downvote myself whenever I think it's necessary. However I think it's fair to explain why, and I would expect that from others. Now, if the downvoter in this case gave an explanation, I would certainly not be mad, as long as it's constructive.

Personally, I am fine with you posting his pictures, Because, I don't expect you to violate the copyrights. And would like you to encourage him to join TGO if it interests him. As long as we keep the sporting nature, and don't add to Moderator's woes, it should be fun. There is nothing at stake, there no prize money or an award or whatever. So I'l prefer to keep it as light as it is

@Ricketyship On Linux, I use convert -resize 1000 img_in.jpg img_out.jpg, if you are on another OS you could figure out how to do it or ask on Superuser if you can't find it...

I have noticed a certain quietness over the last few days. I went and looked to see if maybe there had been an personal issue, and if maybe we would need to reach out to offer support, but I see that it may have been mostly self inflicted. and it will be quiet for a few weeks.
