I'm going to need to get through all of bojack tomorrow morning before @Frank gets here
@Wipqozn we're 15 minutes out of Dartmouth.

....I don't understand the joy of watching a thing that causes misery
@Ash it's the same reason we like @Wipqozn
on a more serious note, watching it seriously may cause misery, while watching it sarcastically (like most bridgers are doing atm, I think) may be fun (to joke about it etc)
I remember watching a horror movie with a friend who was really easy to get entertained and his commentary and laughs made the movie seem like a cheap budget movie to joke about rather than a horror movie, and well, it was honestly more fun than actually watching that movie.
I wonder what he's doing
@Ash It's a pretty good show it just also invokes so many feels
but then again to find out I'd need to unfreeze my facebook, and I'm not doing that. ugh.

@Ash catharsis, i imagine

Fair enough
user15026
I just hate that feeling so I try to avoid it at all costs
It's also weird because while you know everything is in a downward spiral it doesn't bother me in the same way that say, Seinfeld does, where I know how things are going to go (funny-)bad
i mean bojack horseman has many funny parts, they make the misery more powerful by contrast
it is also great social commentary on many things
i don't watch it for the misery specifically
OH NO MISERY
NO NO NO
:(
