CMP: tea or coffee?
@Lyxal Coffee, making me a heretic to my homeland :P
@Lyxal CMP?
What exactly do CMC, CMQ, and CMP stand for?
Chat Mini (Challenge, Question, Poll)
Ah, thanks.
Jan 18, 2021 22:21
There's also CMM (Meta)
Cool
@Lyxal neither, milk :)

@rak1507 a user of culture I see ;D
Jan 18, 2021 22:24
@Lyxal I don't like caffeine or bitterness :(
@rak1507 bruh tea isn't bitter
tea is just weird
No.
It's not
@Lyxal Either, as long as they are cold and so weak that there's no discernible difference.
yeah it is
Jan 18, 2021 22:24
@Adám Thanks, that post is very helpful.
I like the flavour of coffee a bit, but I hate the flavour of tea

@rak1507 *sips tea* no it really isn't
What kind of tea are we talking about here?
Man, Dennis can no longer eleven things :(
Jan 18, 2021 22:25
@user English Breakfast at the moment
@Lyxal Iced coffee > hot coffee > hot tea > iced tea
@cairdcoinheringaahing respectable.
I drank a flavoured iced tea once and I felt like my heart was going to explode. Never again
Can't get a good iced latte since I moved and I'm heartbroken :(
how do people take caffeine willingly?!?!
Jan 18, 2021 22:26
@rak1507 In pill form.
@rak1507 it taste good
@rak1507 A mild addiction's a good start
@Adám Even worse! All of the heart exploding, none of the tolerably ok tasting foodstuffs
@Lyxal If we're talking tea with milk (and not green tea or whatever), then definitely tea. In the summer, though, iced coffee is way better.
@user to heck with green tea
no tea needs milk

Jan 18, 2021 22:27
I would happily have a tea with milk (minus the tea)
unless it's plain black tea
@rak1507 weak.
@rak1507 You probably took too much. You need to build your tolerance.
Black tea is disgusting.
@rak1507 pathetic
@user it's kinda alright if it isn't too strong
If it's not strong, there's no point in drinking it.
Jan 18, 2021 22:27
@user Agreed there. Tea must have milk
Every time I post one of my tea related takes I get 1000 pings bullying me for my in-tea-lerance
Might as well just drink some water, it's cheaper and you won't have the blood of cows on your hands.
@user I mean black tea no milk is tolerable if it isn't too strong
@Lyxal Tolerable, yes. Enjoyable? Not so much.
but tea with milk needs strength otherwise there's no point
Jan 18, 2021 22:28
@user milk >>> water
@user that's what I just said
@user I don't mind the blood, but milk… eww.
@rak1507 That a signed bit shift?
@user bites my steak dinner
Jan 18, 2021 22:29
@user yes definitely
Disgusting omnivores.
In the wild: if you drink milk, you get nutrition. If you drink water, you get waterborne brain eating parasites. Seems like pretty clear evidence that nature prefers milk over water
@rak1507 are you dissing water now?!
Yeah I am
You realize milk could also be contaminated, right? Don't want to get mad-cow disease.
Jan 18, 2021 22:30
@rak1507 Aight you've taken it too far
You don't get mad cow disease from drinking milk
Isn't that from when cows eat each other or something
@rak1507 I ain't standing for your baseless disregard for water
@rak1507 Okay, you don't get it from milk, but it's not like milk can't be dangerous.
@Lyxal Water is highly overrated
3
@Lyxal gosh dang I forgot the comma
@rak1507 894k people disagree with you
Jan 18, 2021 22:32
@user Bit of milk never killed anyone!
@rak1507 Try living without it.
@Lyxal Where is that number from
Jan 18, 2021 22:33
@Lyxal Fake news, that's what Big Water wants you to believe
And you're from Big Milk, are you?
@user Well... it's too late now
CMP: Water or milk?
Oh, well that study is about bone fractures? Due to ... reasons ... somehow I don't think that would really make much difference for me
@user Milk 100% hands down no contest
@user dihydrogen monoxide
Jan 18, 2021 22:35
@rak1507 You may not, but other might.
that's my preference
@user Drinking too much water can make your cells explode, checkmate
@rak1507 you're 70% water.
I think that's checkmate
@rak1507 So can drinking too much milk.
@rak1507 By hating water you're hating yourself
Jan 18, 2021 22:36
Although by the time cytolysis happens, you're probably dead already of a burst bladder.
@Lyxal I'm a large percent blood but I wouldn't drink blood
@rak1507 7% isn't large
@rak1507 Then why drink milk, which is gotten using methods that lead to so many cows' deaths?
It's like buying products from sweatshops.
@Lyxal By hating milk, you're hating the way humans have fed their infants for millenia, implicitly condemning the survival of the human race
I do not support cow milk.
Jan 18, 2021 22:38
@rak1507 I don't hate milk I'm just saying you're wrong for hating water ;D
@user If the cows didn't want to be farmed, they shouldn't have made their milk so delicious. I don't know what they were thinking to be honest, rookie error
Actually, milk is delicious so their young stay around. I don't think they were counting on humans drinking it too.
Well they should have thought of that
(seriously though, factory farming is bad I agree)
Also, a lot of people are lactose intolerant. If humans were meant to drink milk, most of us would not be.
@rak1507 I'm tempted to mark that as "offensive"
@user exactly. You don't see anyone with water allergies
Jan 18, 2021 22:40
@rak1507 A large minority of the world's population suffer from milk tolerance.

Suffering from success
"Should I be concerned about Dihydrogen Monoxide?" "Yes, you should be concerned about DHMO!"
Jan 18, 2021 22:43
> What is the link between Dihydrogen Monoxide and gun violence?
"The incidence of gun violence seems to be rising at an alarming rate. A recent stunning revelation is that in every single instance of violence involving guns, both in the U.S. and internationally, Dihydrogen Monoxide was involved. In fact, DHMO is often very available to those who would do harm to others. Meanwhile, apparently no efforts have been made to limit the availability of this potentially dangerous chemical compound."
haha
> Can using DHMO improve my marriage?
> Married couples have found that regular ingestion of DHMO can improve their marriage-related activities, while couples that never ingest DHMO often find that their marriage suffers as well.
See. Water = good because it saves marriages
Even more dangerous than DHMO is hydrogen hydroxide, though.
Everyone who has ever consumed DHMO has died.
Couples that never ingest DHMO never get divorces, though. Couples that do consume DHMO often get divorces.
Jan 18, 2021 22:45
Yeah well without DHMO there would be no code golf
@rak1507 So has everyone who hasn't. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Someone needs to make a challenge about making up silly names based off of chemical formulas.
Prolonged submergence in DHMO at childbirth is fatal. However, if you submerge an infant in milk, they will be able to stay within the milk for the rest of their life!
@rak1507 [citation needed]
(They're both the same thing)
Jan 18, 2021 22:51
@Lyxal yes
@Neil understandable. Have a nice day
@user yes
I use water to make both coffee and tea which I then drink with milk, so the conjunction is also true in both cases

@Neil Coffee and tea? That can't be a healthy combination.
I'd assume not at the same time
