I downloaded Sanctum on Steam tonight. I was able to get through the first 19 levels of the Mine without the shield taking any damage, but I've now tried 4 times on level 20 and I can never take down the Big Walker. Prophecies was slow and Factions was waaaay fast. I think they got the balance just right in Nightfall.

It was like they realized what a slog Prophecies was, so they went entirely the other direction

When I hover over steam or other tags in the list of my favourite tags, the mouseover popup is shown partially off-screen: The page fit on-screen before the pop-up, and afterwards a horizontal scrollbar shows up. I can use my arrow keys to move over (an attempt to keep my mouse above the tag)...

TomTom provides certain anonymous GPS data to governments to identify places where roads should be improved, widened, et cetera. The company never meant for it to be used for speed traps, and their agreement has been updated to disallow it.

@Powerlord Because they wanted to show that Aperture Science had just as much concern for its test subjects as for the other stuff it moves around in those tubes.

@ArdaXi Yes, but they're a plot hole, as somehow the elevators got an upgrade while GLaDOS was dead.

@Powerlord GLaDOS isn't the only sentient being in Aperture Science.

But yes, there are an amazing amount of plot holes in the game.

For example: In Portal 1, you see a behind the scenes shot of the test chambers and the observation rooms. But there are no panels anywhere, nor any of the expansive open routes you see in Portal 2.

And the tube thingies also don't show any of that in Portal 1, although P2 clearly shows that all those tubes pass through open space at one point.

If that's what passes as plot holes then hell.

The older test chambers are impossible to do without the Portal gun, and yet... according to the Portal 1 plot, he came up with the idea for the Portal gun on his death bed.

It's not only said by GLaDOS, but confirmed in the dev commentary et al. that GLaDOS built the bots.
