@tunny: You taught English for forty years and now you baulk at having to look up a smattering of newer terms in order to understand posts on the internet? o.O Learning an evolving language applies to everyone, and I would have expected a teacher to know that, rather than suggesting that the newer terms should be outright banned!! — Lightness Races in Orbit5 hours ago
Guys, I've been having problem with peeing too many times a day so I went to Urologist today to figure out why. However, they told me they want to shove up some line of camera into my ding-dong so I told them "no-way".
I can accept others to do whatever operations they want to any part of my body except for my ding-dong and balls.
Winterbash 2014 is on its way. It will run from 15 December 2014 to 4 January 2015.
As with last year, if you don't want hats you can opt out.
There is also the possibility of the whole site opting out before it starts. Nobody wants that, though, right?
Guys, isn't it interesting how people tend to hang out with others with similar personality and even their look?
I had 1 girlfriend in my life (merely a girlfriend because our relationship ended so quickly due to little experience in love and date) and she was virgin for sure just like me.
Last time I asked her to hug me and she doesn't know where to surround her arms on my body. She ended up putting her arms around my shoulder without considering that I'm 178 CM tall and she is like 168 tall.
What I am suggesting here is a form of self-government. Since, the system records and graphs the activity of all the users in the room, why not choose the room owner based on that data, rather than the current system? If you want to be a room owner it is only fair that you should actively participate in that room.
That already happens, I think, but only for low activity rooms. Kit (before she was a moderator) gained ownership of the overlook hotel because she was most active
It a medical treatment for my various diseases that I currently have. I think they were mostly caused by stress I get from life; trolls, family and etc. So it's a great way to release it.
I watched it yesterday and the movie was about Percy Jackson gets to survive at the end of bloody hell fight against German SS Nazis they encounter after their tank gets destroyed.
@MattЭллен This kind of change in the system would make full use of those who are most likely to be actually in the room and participating during flagging of comments, temporary banning, etc.
Wah, there is a couple of magnificent retards sitting behind my row. They were actually singing "Twinkle Twinkle little stars" when they were climbing up stairs looking for their alphabatical order of seats.
Like A B C D E F G H I (twinkle twinkle little stars), there you go.
Private Brit, shoot them now!
Quick question, what is a sigular term of one half of a couple?
@MattЭллен - sorry to bother you, but when you have a few minutes, could you please go to the room you opened for me the other day? I have a 'situation'. Thanks.
@skullpatrol - what do you know about lightness in orbit or whatever the name is?

Or must it be:
Then right after I said, “Some shocking statement,”
she said, “Oh!”
I've had a few people read pieces of narrative writing I've done, and they seem to take issue with the fact that I sometimes put a piece of speech inline with the rest of a non-dialogue paragraph, like so:
Jill found a box of mints she liked, and took them off the shelf. She walked up to the ...
Damn, is prostitution that bad? Are you considering that it is a serious job for some people who declared it as their profession and have nothing else to do other that that?
Allowing yourself to accept money so that someone can have sex with you is not evil. The problems only arise from other people. e.g. if you don't want to allow people to pay you for sex, but are being forced to, or the people paying for sex aren't playing by the rules you set up for such interactions.
What's evil about prostitution? The only "evil" thing about it is the horrible way that many prostitutes are taken advantage of and treated in that world.
Apart from that (which is a big issue), sex between two consenting adults be it for fun or money is not evil. Why should it be?
I find it sad that people would want/need to pay for it mind but evil?

@terdon Then what about all the diseases, STDs etc. That looks pretty evil.
Obviously, prostitutes are a high risk group, so perhaps are more troubled by that than others but again, that's not "evil".
I am not defending prostitution as it is today. I just wouldn't call it evil and in any case, if anyone were evil it'd be the client and not the prostitute.
Compared to pretty much anything. Far more dishonest to be selling something in a store where you need to convince your client that they need it/want it/can use it/ etc.
Just spent a few minutes searching for the "expert" button a NNS QA person told me didn't work, before I finally realized she meant the "export" button.
It's just mind-numbingly idiotic to make it illegal. It certainly does not stop it (or even make a dent in it). It just pushes it into the shadows where all the really bad things happen.

> HOMOEOPATHY, n. [1.] A school of medicine midway between Allopathy and Christian Science. To the last both the others are distinctly inferior, for Christian Science will cure imaginary diseases, and they can not. [2.] A theory and practice of medicine which aims to cure the diseases of fools. As it does not cure them, and does sometimes kill the fools, it is ridiculed by the thoughtless, but commended by the wise.
