I suppose one could specify categories like [voiced] = [b,d,g,n,m...]
but then you'd need a word list that has pronunciation.
is there a unix word list with IPA pronunciations? there is the moby word list (or is it CMU?) but those are multi letter, but could be fixed to have single char per phoneme.

If we could only get people to write /traj/ for try, or as Kenyon and Knott, and Lawler do, /tray/, then /ˈtrajæd/ or /ˈtrayæd/ would be much more sensible to folks.
@MetaEd There are a lot of mods somehow related to Smokey, and they either manually or automatically are exempt from autoflagging in the site they're a mod on to ensure that there will be always at least a human involved in nuking stuff
I saw this sentence: "You can change this view by either clicking on the appropriate button at the top of calendar window" Would it have been weird if the last part was written with additional the like "at the top of the calendar window?"
