I made a ton of edits. Started going down the Q and making post edits and flagging thanks.. Wasn't really and new Q&As and I need a break from work, lol
Maybe there's a queue limit - and you have too many in queue currently. All the edits I've approved have yet to go through since ( I'm assuming ) it takes more than 1 person to approve an edit.
For example, I approved this one but it shows I'm the only one so far who has approved it.

@Jean-philippeEmond If you're referring to the function in the answer that Darth_Vader linked - it really shouldn't increase page load at all the conditional is very simplistic. The load must be coming from elsewhere or there's more redirects that are being processed.
