We believe (and developers tell us) that job seekers should be empowered with as much information as possible when looking for a job – especially salary. So we ran an experiment on Stack Overflow Jobs to see if the evidence would support it.

If I'm not allowed to edit does that mean my edits were denied?

@Darth_Vader There is no edit ban on your profile. Maybe the post author was editing at the same time.

7:14 PM
@toscho some reason I am no longer allowed to edit any posts

I've been approving your edits - you had like, 10 of them or something.

@Howdy_McGee really?? I see nothing that says they were approved...
I made a ton of edits. Started going down the Q and making post edits and flagging thanks.. Wasn't really and new Q&As and I need a break from work, lol
@toscho does my profile show a ban?

Maybe there's a queue limit - and you have too many in queue currently. All the edits I've approved have yet to go through since ( I'm assuming ) it takes more than 1 person to approve an edit.
For example, I approved this one but it shows I'm the only one so far who has approved it.

@Howdy_McGee ah that is right, I think edits take two approvals.
guess I''ll go learn more about PHP OOP.
@Jean-philippeEmond I think there were a few Q&As on this topic
@Jean-philippeEmond something like this: wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/141848/…
@Jean-philippeEmond why not make it a question??

RC means we think we’re done, but with millions of users and thousands of plugins and themes, it’s possible we’ve missed something. We hope to ship WordPress 4.6 on Tuesday, August 16, but we need […]

@Darth_Vader.. the function increase loading page by... mostly 30-40 sec.

sorry I think you should make it a question. . . I am just a monk of the wp. . .

@Darth_Vader No, as I said, I can see no ban.

@toscho apologies, I forgot the suggested edits took two votes. Which would explain why I'm no longer allowed to edit till they are approved or denied

@Jean-philippeEmond If you're referring to the function in the answer that Darth_Vader linked - it really shouldn't increase page load at all the conditional is very simplistic. The load must be coming from elsewhere or there's more redirects that are being processed.

If I improve an edit - does the originator still get some kind of points or recognition?

what's the best way to set an id with jQuery if you are doing something like <a id="post<?php echo get_the_ID(); ?>"? I've looked forever and can't seem to find it and surely it's been asked before.
