so for the past 2 days i've been off the internet because i got my new hardrives, ealier than expected, and thus have been copying data from my old harddrive to the new one. suffice to say i had hardrives sitting on my pc chair ontop of my laptop to prevent any sort of sliding off

still aint done because i got to to a backup of my main harddrive and copy my music off to it's dedicated hardrive and backup that

seemingly knowing people on the internet are saying infrared "laser" thermometer guns can't read transparent liquid temperature and instead show the temp of the cup which is usually higher coz of thermal conductivity and cold water going down and hot water rising up

they also say it's better to use a stainless steel stick/rod thermometer or a glass one for high temps instead

but that's all for noobs

I say just practice and after a few cups you'll know when to stop heating the water

@Memor-X next time you can use a bamboo mat thing for making rolls as a non-slide carpet

the ridges on the bottom of hdds will snap to them and it's made of wood so it's dielectric

also has distance between the wood sticks for ventilation

@Morwenn good. spent the weekend transferring data off my old proatble hardrive to my new ones (still yet to do the backups) which meant no Witch and the Hundred Knight and the only anime i watched was 2 episodes of Avatar: The Legend of Korra since my old portable harddrive needs a power point which gets in the way of my Bluray/DVD Player and my Home Consoles which is a pain because i'm 3 episodes and a movie off from finishing Love Live

though i did play a bunch on my Portables. played Golden Sun: The Lost Age and started playing Tales of Eternia

@Morwenn yeh i know. played though the first one and did the Gold Password transfer. last time i played the second one i got up to the Doom Dragon but didn't beat it and i don't know what kind of data transfer there is in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn sine Issac and Garet seems to be in it again (but hoping that Felix, Jenna, Sheba and Mia are in it so i can have my old party again)

even after you clear all the puzzles playing it again you can still get stumped on them. took me a while to get the Summon Tablet from Air's Rock

I don't know about the DS games, I never owned a DS. The Doom Dragon was a worthy opponent anyway, even with a well-trained team, it was sometimes difficult to win.

and i think i've messed up the Djinn order again because Piers has an unset Jupiter Djinn because the numbers are unballanced

i know that Doom Dragon was the final boss but there was the revelation of what Alex was doing while everyone was at the Mars Lighthouse so i knew there had to be a continuations unless they did a dick move and killed Alex off way off screen to end the series. but to find the next game on DS was a supprsie

@Morwenn the parts i got stuck on in the second game in my first playthrough was after you defeat Briggs on the ship (kept missing that southern exit of the desert), looking for the Trident pieces (missed the beach landing to that southern tower) and getting into the Jupiter Lighthouse (didn't know where to get Levitate).

so far i made the same mistake with the first part but i still remember the southern tower but i forgotten where the 3rd Trident Piece is but i won't get stuck with Levitate

still i suppose you end up knowing ahead of time about where to get Levitate if you played the first game first. i brought the second game thinking it was the first

TBH I forgot about many parts of the game. I really should play it again someday :)

in terms of badguys that is. Mia is still my favorite

Ok, apparently those are the French names. Can't find the English ones.

@Morwenn well the DS's are discontinued now so you either get a 3DS which can still play DS Games or you get an Emulator and ROM. though to be honest i'd go for the 3DS. there are some good 3DS games aswell like Etrian Odyssey, Bravely Default, Tales of the Abyss, Stella Glow

Ok, Saturos and Menardi. Fuck it, the names aren't even close D:

@Memor-X I'd either buy a used DS or 3DS I guess.

@Morwenn oh shit i was looking at the main characters....kinda makes sense since both names are fire creatures and Saturos and Menardi are Fire Adepts from the Mars Clan

though i can only assume Salamandar = Saturos since Phoenixia sounds female
