It was at like 102k and escalating only a few months ago.

@Eric They did some automated shit and fuzzied the number a bit.

Once the current set is cleared, then they relax the conditions a bit and reload it.

Oh, good plan. Sweep the problem under the rug instead of solve it. lol

So there's still close to 100k in there. But you only see the worst of them in there.

IIRC, old posts will say in the backlog.

All the new stuff get highest priority.

Once the current queue runs low, they will pull in more from the backlog.

Meh, I guess we'll see if it works at all.

Felt pretty futile, TBH.

Part of the problem is that its takes one person to throw something in the queue and at least 3 to kick it out.

And SO gets a lot of bottom-of-the-barrel questions.

There was one guy who went down the top questions list and CV'ed everything.

... Welp.

I'm glad we don't really attract trolls like that.

Even some of the smaller graduated sites, I doubt are that bad.

IIRC, the branch question got CV'ed as "not constructive" on one occasion, and "primarily opinion based" on another.

Yeah, that's trolling. I've only CV'd one really highly voted question before, because it was an obvious upvote grab.

And hell, it worked. But it was a bad question as it had no research effort.
