@Sakamoto ok Imma make a note in the new policy on id-reqs that I'm currently writing that ANY id-request for an image where the answer can be clearly and explicitly (i.e. obviously) found on the first page need to be voted/flagged to be deleted.

IMO we should entirely ban image-based identifications.

There's too many factors in them: size, quality, obscurity, fan art, etc.

I am fine with keeping other ID requests, but image-only ones are just too difficult to manage and answer consistently.

In this question, it's an identification of an aspect of a series, demonstrated by an image.

I'll make note of this in the policy

Works for me. It is perhaps up for discussion on meta, but I have a feeling we don't have a lot of community desire for these types of questions.

The most crucial point is to find a way to eliminate low-quality ones, because from what I can tell, at most 25% of them get more than 1 upvote. I need hard data on this, but for now that's my estimate.
