Dingo was convincing enough, but the rest is in pieces

like it's a draft of a story

I'll give it props on the art and animation, but the story was bad.

They put out so many plotlines and didn't resolve any of it.

I feel that this movie was more of a proof-of-concept for their 3D animation thingie.

I've read a significant number of sci-fi stories to say there isn't a good sci-fi story in there

They used so many concepts that one would normally devote an entire movie plot for. It spread it out too much, like a dollop of butter on five slices of bread.

I was hoping from something like an attack on the DEVA and people rushing over to the other side...

at best there are a few incomplete short stories which aren't very interesting by themselves

but the animation was the least annoying of all 3D works I've seen

so at least that they did okay, I guess

@Hakase Yeah, it really looks like the story was put together slap-dash so they could show off their new animation technology.
